Raised prolactin
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in October as a result of having bloods done to look at my prolactin levels as I was being investigated for a brain tumour. The raised prolactin level was then put down to the hypothyroidism as my tsh was over 200 and my T4 was 0.37. My tsh is now 113 and my t4 is

Decreased zinc in the development and progression of malignancy
New paper below [1]. These guys seem upset: "Efficacious chemotherapy does not exist for treatment or prevention of prostate ... carcinomas ... Zinc treatment offers a potential solution; but its support has been deterred by adverse bias." The Franklin & Costello partnership goes back at least 40 years

Raised prolactin
18months ago I had my left side of my thyroid removed due to a goiter growing in there. When it was removed the surgeon said there was clear signs of thyroiditis in that left side. After 7months of struggling after the op the gp put me on 50mg of levothyroxine even though my levels were within normal

A story you've heard before, with a twist!
I'm undiagnosed for the most part. I have a prolactin tumour, intercystial cystitis, IBS, cyclothymia but nothing that describes the amount of pain I'm in on a daily basis. I'm 37. I started using a walking stick, now I'm considering a stair lift and wheelchair. It's worsening every day. I work from

Prolactinoma and high Prolactin - help with pituitary issue affecting fertility
After 6 months coming off BC and no sign off my period Dr sent me for blood test and my prolactin is in the 1200s. Few other results out Inc androgen and testosterone but LH and FSH ok albeit on the low side. Been distraught since thinking PCOS and was getting my head around the potential of having that

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Melatonin
Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland at night. Production is tied to the circadian cycle, but can be cut short upon exposure to certain light frequencies. It is therefore unwise to turn on a light once production begins. Night lights lacking the blue frequencies might be OK. Melatonin

Endo said to stop Levo to see how much it is helping
Went to see an endo on Tuesday, have high prolactin levels, no energy, lactating, headaches. Taking 50mcg of Levo daily. He said wants to see if it is making any difference to how I feel as he thinks I don't need it. I feel terrible at the moment going to work and then literally have no energy, panicking
