kidney injury, pre eclampsia
I had severe preeclampsia and associated kidney injury (most likely acute kidney failure). Has anyone else experienced this and did you require follow up with nephrologist?

28 week scan today, should I be worried with results
ok so as title says I had my 28 week scan today, baby is measuring in the 95th already weighing in at 2lb 15 oz, also they checked my blood pressure it was high at 130/90 and my urine had protein in it well obviously these are both signs of preeclampsia, eventually my blood pressure came down and they

Empty 2nd sac is there a chance?
Hi, I had a scan at 7+5 as I had some pains and they wanted to check I wasn't ectopic. On the scan there's was on healthy baby with heartbeat and one empty sac next to it which was a bit smaller. They said it was probably a twin that didn't form but they'd check at 12 weeks if anything forms or if not

Could it be pre-eclampsia?
So I'm 30 weeks now with my twins and since about week 14 I've had pain just below the breast bone on my right side and since around week 20 had brief flashes of light but only ever occurring in my right eye, usually when changing brightness in a room but becoming more frequent even without changes.

Test results help requested!
Gp recently prescribed
pro
banthine
which has helped greatly and sometimes I feel almost normal. But I am having to increase the dosage for the same results and I'm concerned about its long term use. I have just had yet another blood test, which doctor says is normal.

Preeclampsia at 19 weeks
Hi. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia at 19 weeks. I had blood pressure of 173/101 and a high level of protein in my urine. I'm now 20 weeks and the doctors told me that I cannot delay my pregnancy because my health could be negatively impacted and I could get seizures and such or even die. My baby will

Preeclampsia
Had to see the specialist midwife yesterday that deals with multiple birth. On top of sever hip pain and back pain and vomiting I now have preeclampsia. I am only 24 weeks and I have never been so eager to have babies. I can't sleep at all I do is cry due to pain. It's too much can some one speed up

Pre-eclampsia in first pregnancy
I totally agree with all that information about pre-eclampsia possibility should be shared with mother to be during the antinatal appointments especially when you are in the third trimester, have some symptoms and you ask few times about that whatever way it is. I had a very traumatic experience as

Waters breaking but no contractions
Hello, I am hoping someone has had a similar experience to me and can help put my mind at ease. Yesterday morning (at 37 weeks & 5 days) I had a little gush after coming out of the shower. I wasn't 100% sure it was my waters but I had been to the toilet before my shower and the water on the floor

hi there, I have recently had pre-eclampsia and you can read my post. Just need to know if there is any long term affects to me after this.
I did not develop hellp syndrome but was very close to having a stroke or eclamptic fit. My consultant has said that because i have had pre-eclampsia at such i early stage i am likely to develop it again. Will it be as serious next time? Should i be worrying? I am so scared to have another baby but really

Hi ladies, I had pre-eclampsia at 26 weeks, after knowing something was wrong from a week and a half before i was in and out of the doctors surgery and midwifes office. 'Nobody took me seriously...' I was just claimed to be at the age of 22 'A young first time anxious mum.' I knew something wasn't right
