What does a positive anti dsdna antibody test mean?
Hi all, I have APS, coeliac, hypothyroid and fibro. I've just had a copy of my latest bloods back from. St Thomas's and my anti dsdna antibodies were raised slightly (16 range is 0-10). I know they've been raised in the past before. Is this of any significance and what does it mean if anything? I did

Immediate effect of coconut oil
s my first post to any PD support site, but I've had a remarkable occurrence in my life, and I want to share it with others who suffer with PD. I’m a 65 year old female, diagnosed with PD in January 2001. I had seen some Youtube videos about coconut oil (CO) and Alzheimer’s and wondered about possible

Does anyone have any reliable information about ZANDOPA?
I have been on Sinemet for six years - 800 mg currently - and now that the s/e are severely impacting on my life I am keen to find a way of reducing it. In particular, the dyskinesias are getting much worse. I can't be prescribed a dopamine agonist because of ICD previously. I have received a 200g

The Placebo Effect - how significant is it in Parkinsons.
The Placebo Effect refers to the beneficial effect in a patient following a particular treatment that arises from the patient's expectations concerning the treatment rather than from the treatment itself or put another way The placebo effect happens when you decide a therapy will make you better

How much coq10 does people use for PD? Does anybody uses supplements alone? How easy or hard to get domperidone from canada?
Sorry too many questions in one post. Just wonder which of two evils to deal with, side effects of sinemet er or PD?

Does anyone have an unbearable pain as the bladder fills and a horrible tightening after urinating within the vulvar area? No doctors know.
They call it interstitial cystitis with pelvic floor muscle dysfunction...But I'm not sure that's what it is. No UTI for over a year, although feels like one 24/7 for me. Any response will be truly appreciated! -C

Thyroid and cystitis.
I seem to have developed cystitis. Was diagnosed almost a year ago with Graves. On Carbmazole and levo (75mcg alternating with 100mcg) and doing ok - I have a feeling I might be needing a bit more levo but not sure so will see what next blood tests say, anyway I now seem to have developed cystitis.

Hi ladies! So, I've been suffering with possible endo related symptoms for years now on and off. My main symptoms are: pain during and after sex, random bleeding during and after sex, lower abdo pain that is like pulling or tugging (it's agony), fatigue, bowel irregularities and I'm sure there's more
