Robotic catheter ablation
Hi, I’m scheduled for robotic catheter ablation with the Stereotaxis system. I’ve had PVCs (pre-ventricular contractions, an arrhythmia not mentioned much in these posts) since my early teens (for about 50 years), and a recent holter showed that 21% of my heartbeats are now irregular. Monitored but untreated

Can drinking lots of water ease ventricular ectopic beats?
As a sufferer of PVC's for 45 years I have done the rounds of cardiologists and not one of them seems to have a clue what is going on. All they can do is try to address the effects with drugs, rather than eliminate the cause. And often the drugs come with their own serious side effects. Ablation works

Pvcs while lying down
Why do I get pvcs when I lay down!!!!! Every single time I lay down BAAAAAMMM! Or I take a deep breath or yawn. It’s almost like I can bring them on myself. Can it be internal pressure, is there such a thing?? Can it be I have a hypersensitive heart or some kind of irritant

As I sit here waiting for the next pvc my family is out having fun and I feel as I’m losing the battle. No matter what I do they come back. Every day I worry from the minute I wake up to right before I fall asleep

Hello :)
Hi all, I am a 41yr old Mum of 2 teen boys and have been married for 21yrs. I was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy and Myocarditis in March 2006, after a virus attacked my heart muscle 6 months previous. The scar tissue means I also have VT, AT, AF and thousands of PVCs per day. I am on several

Poop retention, by a man who suffered this from birth to 13.
Due to her iron deficiency, I was born
premature
and had a very low
birth
weight. I was born about two weeks overdue, so was
premature
even though I was a full term baby. When I was born they noticed I was very anemic, so I was given a significant amount of iron, which was added to my formula milk.

Pernicious Anaemia, PVC's and Atria Fibrillation
I've been suffering with low B12, PVC's and AF for a number of years. I decided to switch to self injection around 3 years ago, due to the local GP's not offering anything more than 4 a year after loading. Had a number of symptoms, some still remain. I also switched to more regular self injections,

Palpitations and spikes in BP
I get those palpitations that could be PVCs or PACs, I've had them for years but they are more noticeable these days. 3 Nights ago I had a completely sleepless night with them and my blood pressure was very high, in the red zone on my monitor (I should also say I was very anxious at the time). In hindsight

Pvcs
Here I am totally relaxed listening to music and BOOM! A really hard beat that almost made me jump out of bed!!! It came out of no where. Why does it feel so bad??? Can it be cause I’m lying down and my heart is right against my chest?

Question on PACs
Hello I have a question and would be grateful for any replies ☺️. Before I started Flecaine in June this year my Holter tests ( 3 over 3 years) showed that I was getting a lot of PVCs - up to 800 in 24hrs and they were very annoying as many of you will know. But hardly any PACs. (20 or so) Since taking

CTA
I’m afraid to have a CTA done. I’m having mild PVCs but all other tests were fine. Anyone had it done? I’m not sure if the risk is worth it as my heart has calmed down. The ultrasound was good. Thoughts anyone?

A little more settled
After what seemed an endless stream of problems after the Pace and Ablate a few months ago, I seem to be a little more settled now. I was still getting PVC's even with all the tweaking the tech people did for me, and no-one really seemed to know what, if any, meds I should be taking. So I did a bit

Pacemaker in 30s?
What has your experience been with a pacemaker? I am 38 years old and on my way to a pacemaker. 5 years ago I was diagnosed with PVCs after giving birth. I had a Holter monitor and was told they were benign and sent on my way. They have gotten progressively worse. I was put on 25 metoprolol then potassium

PVCs and exercise
Hello there! Hope all is well. I am new to the site and I love it. I feel some sort of support knowing I am not allowed. I have been suffering with anxiety for the past 5 years. Its been really tough. My anxiety comes from having pvcs while I exercise. When I run or when I do uphill walking or jogging
