, among patients with atrial fibrillation.

Leg scans
So they’ve put me on
pradaxa
now ... read the leaflet and it say you shouldn’t take it if you have a stomach ulcer... I told them I have gastritis ... which leads to ulcers. I’ve left a message for rheumy/gp now. Fed up and worried that I may have heart problems now 🙄 seriously had enough.

Should I go for second ablation?
He put in on
pradaxa
and Cordorone and continued after the procedure. The healing period was quite a difficult experience . I experience Afib , fatigue and short of breath for a couple of months. However improvement was felt as months passed.

Painful, cold knees and legs...
I've been on dabigatran/
pradaxa
for 18 months and would of thought I'm over side effects - they were bad in the beginning, but soon went. I've a history of Afib, sick sinus syndrome and had a pacemaker in May 2020.

My evening meds (Flecainide 150 mg which I take twice a day -- & I take
Pradaxa
too) did nothing perhaps because Flecainide acts on rhythm, not rate?

Does Xarelto cause an increase in heart rate?
My cardiologist switched my anticoagulant a week ago from
Pradaxa
to Xarelto. The day after I started, my heart rate increased from around 60-70 to 90-100.

Nervous and scared about this whole AF thing
I’m already increased to the highest dose of flecainide (150mg twice a day) & I take a beta blocker &
Pradaxa
. My EP said that “theoretically” I could probably have the Flecainide dose increased to stay in good control if need be.

Problems with taking blood thinners
She has now put me onto
Pradaxa
and also Panadeine Forte (1/2 tablet) at night to help me sleep. Last night I slept until 3 am but since then have had the same terrible pains and aches, although I don't feel like I am floating as I did on Eliquis. But I feel like my quality of life has gone.

BLOOD THINNERS
Blood thinners Been taking
Pradaxa
120 mg for approximately 5 years for afib with no problems. My doctor has changed my blood thinner next month from
Pradaxa
to Xarelto (Rivaroxaban) . I cannot find any good reviews for Xarelto (Rivaroxaban) , everything is negative.

The Haemothromb Test®
I currently take
Pradaxa
as the anticoagulant but am considering returning to warfarin. I was researching INR self testing machines when I came across this INR test - The Haemothromb Test®. I will investigate it further especially as I understand it was created by a Hungarian.

New Member. Male 76 years old. British ex educator and minor diplomat in Singapore. Now retired here. 38 years with Afib. Now mild Angina
I am staying on Amiodarone and
Pradaxa
for the time being. For those of you that do have Afib it does show that one can eradicate it with the right treatment and I guess a big handful of luck.

Anticoagulant
I would like to know from your experience if taking anticoagulant like
Pradaxa
or Apixaban will make healing of wounds or ulcers last longer? Have anyone of you experienced this? Thanks.

Bisoprolol!!
I take Elequis and was also formerly on
Pradaxa
(dabigatran). Both are excellent drugs with no side effects and little monitoring. I will be taking this twice daily for lifetime now, as my AFib is permanent.

Pradaxa
for life though. Will Take out a good travel insurance for wife and myself. However I am concerned that the heat over there may cause a relapse. Am I worrying about nothing or am I right to be concerned.
