Hyperthyroidism since 2009 any advise?
Before I was diagnosed I was a fitness enthusiast and looked great, lots of friends and had a great career. I woke up one day and felt like I’d been hit by a bus. I went to the Dr. and asked for a lab work up. It was determined to be hyperthyroidism and I was immediately placed on PTU and once I became

Advice on blood tests. I had RAI treatment for Graves 4 years ago
After my RAI I was on 100mg levothyroxine, felt ok, energy levels lower but I put up with it. My TSH was <0.02 and I saw a new GP who felt I was over medicated. So I alternated 100/75 so my dose was 88 mg. I put on a stone and started getting out of Breath on exhersion and my legs ached. I then went

Under Active Thyroid & Supplements
Hi All, I have an under active thyroid and take 125mg of Levothyroxine per day. I also have a Hiatal Hernia and take 40mg of Pantaprazole per day. I have recently started taking supplements to help with these things, but also to help with my general health. I have been taking 2 x 2000mg of Omega-3 fish

May I have advice on cortisol saliva test results, please
I would very much appreciate your help and advice. My doctor is no help and I have privately tested and self-diagnosed over the last three years. I'm not sure if age matters in relation to these results but I am 72. I have followed the B12 Deficiency protocol on the FB page Pernicious Anaemia/B12 deficiency

Update on third Eyela injection
Prep went ok but I had to remind the team that I had a reaction to the Iodine and they should use a double diluted solution to prevent the stinging and tears. I had expected that this would have been recorded on my records but apparently not. I did see a different clinician since the last two injections

Hi all. I’ve been a member a while but had no results to look at as took endo on blind faith that everything was fine. Have asked about t3 twice now. I’m not losing any weight despite running. Feel okish but tired, hair rubbish, nails crack. Upped dose by 25 twice a week and heart palp went away so did

What's normal?
I first of all had an over-active thyroid following the birth of my son. Three years later I had RAI treatment and from then on I've been under-active, taking varying amounts of levothyroxine. I'm now wondering, which I haven't before, if my anxiety/panic attacks are related to levothyroxine. I've also

On Levo, 125mg daily for 1year, TSH and T4 normal now, but gained 13kgs. Was fat before, when hyper, so had RAI ablation. Help!
I had RAI treatment about 18 months ago. I was overweight, but clinically hyperthyroid and I felt crap. My dose of Levo has increased to 125mg daily, but I seem to be getting fatter with each increase. Endorse says my TSH and T4 are Normal. I asked for T3 to be measured, but endo says as my TSH is normal

Hi everyone. I have Graves’ disease since July 2014 but now in full antibody remission since November following treatment with Carbimazole, selenium, Vit D and gut health diet. I have now been diagnosed with DCIS on a large Area 10x3cm and it is high grade/aggressive. I have been told I need a mastectomy

Iodine deficiency
I keep reading all over the web that iodine could actually treat thyroid problems has anyone had any success? And if so what ratio of iodine? Has anyone tried iodoral?
