Hello there, You might remember me as the mama trying to post about the positive changes after surviving pp and getting the support and treatment I needed to process it all. The above said in the voice of Troy Mclure from the Simpsons (iykyk) Well I’ve just celebrated my daughter’s 3rd birthday

Bond after PPP
Hello,Late night post here but this thought does seem to pop up still.. I'm three years down the line from my Postpartum Psychosis experience, and I'm wondering if anyone else gets this feeling sometimes. I love my daughter an unconditional amount, she is what keeps me going every day and I will always

Shocked but not suprised at Borderline Personality Disorder (EUPD) diagnosis
Morning I just found out I am diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder in an unsettling way. I know I’m not currently allowed to drive and I’m fine with that, but I just opened a letter from the DVA confirming I’m not to drive, and it says about how they’ve accessed my medical records etc and

Psychosis
I’m looking for some support/advice with trying to look forward after all that had happened when I was poorly with PPP. I struggle some days to come to terms with what happened and I constantly finding myself thinking about those long few months in hospital with my baby. We have the best bond now but

How were you treated by others when you had PP?
I am looking more and more into ways to help women and survivors of PP and would like to know a little more about your stories. Here’s a question for you if you feel comfortable answering it. How were you treated by others while you were experiencing PP? Your family, your providers, friends? If you

Reoccurring postpartum psychosis
Hi, I just wondered if you could tell me if psychosis can return due to stress if you don't have another baby? I had my daughter in 2021 and had postpartum psychosis have fully recovered and no longer on medication since 2022. At my mental health review with my GP doctor he said that stress can bring

Olanzapine/other antipsychotics during pregnancy
Hi All, Thank you again for answering previous questions and for being so open and honest. I had another question please ❤️. Have you had a baby whilst on Olanzapine or any other antipsychotic? What mg were you on and did Baby have any withdrawals from it once they arrived? Especially those who

New to group and a survivor with encouragement!
Hello all, I just wanted to introduce myself to the group. I'm a 20 year survivor of postpartum psychosis in the USA. I found this group through Postpartum Support International and I'm so glad I did. I have never actually spoken to another survivor of PP until I got here, just because I've never

Olanzapine tapering
I had Postpartum psychosis two years ago after having my Son. I've been on Olanzapine for the two years. I came off once by tapering but I think I went too quickly. I'm on 7.5mg and I went to 5mg for around 3 weeks then to 2.5mg for about 3 weeks and then off. Once off I couldn't sleep, I don't know

Second baby nerves
I'm due my second baby in a couple of weeks and am trying to prepare as much as possible but as the time creeps closer it's hard not to remember/relive elements of the psychosis and depression I had with my first. All be it 4.5 years ago it's still very fresh.Wondering how other second time mums managed

Ubundance of emotions
I am 10 years on from having PP. I have come so far but as a result I suffer with anxiety and depression and I battle with those and do my best. As those 10 years have passed there have been moments of flashbacks, feelings, emotions triggered at times by obvious things, other times not. A couple of

pregnancy anxiety
I am 12 weeks pregnant with our baby and are about 1 year out from my stillbirth and postpartum psychosis experience. I’ve been experiencing complications with this pregnancy, including an incarcerated uterus which I had to undergo a medical procedure to correct and some other little traumas around that

Sertraline or SSRI with Olanzapine
Did anyone take Sertraline or another SSRI with Olanzapine. I have bad anxiety and am scared of Olanzapine because of a higher cardiac event risk. And then if you add Sertraline it can also cause adverse affects. So anxious about Olanzapine and then both.
