Is It Just me? Lu-177 seems not to be as affective as once touted, seems Hyper / Hypo progression occurs in guys with mutations?
I noticed men with genome mutations don’t do as well, Germline not so sure…yet, but I haven’t seen this addressed At All with
Pluvicto
Lu 177 why hyper or hypo progression happens in men with mutations

Pluvicto and microbiome
It’s been 12 days since my first
Pluvicto
treatment and I’m wondering if it might have or still be seriously challenging my gut bacteria. Constant lower GI discomfort/pain with much more gas than usual and exceptionally rank odor for flatulence and feces(sorry if that’s TMI).

Be careful: Pluvicto controversy, dammit!
not saying that it does not work, in fact for some patients it is simply fantastic, but still...they have damaged their reputation with patients https://www.nature.com/articles/s44276-024-00065-7 The PSMAfore and VISION trials for Lutetium-177 PSMA-617 in prostate cancer exhibit design flaws that bias

Pluvicto and vomiting
anyone else have that side effect? I had my first injection exactly one week ago. I didn’t notice any side effects, but two days ago I had the dry heaves, and today a couple of full vomits. Funny that I had no food this morning and only cup of water for meds. Followed by some Pepto-Bismol, 1 hour later

It’s Been A While
Three months after finishing chemo, I went on
Pluvicto
. A new PSMA-PET shows
Pluvicto
is working! This is great! But, I have NO life. Most friends have moved away. For more than one year, I have had to use a rollator to get around.

Pluvicto Question
My MO told me I was a good candidate for
Pluvicto
, so, three months after finishing Taxotere, I started that therapy. Today, I am 3 weeks out from my second treatment. I feel like I was hit by a truck. I am SO fatigued today. I also have a terrible appetite.

Pluvicto hacks?
I’ll likely be starting
Pluvicto
treatments soon, and am looking for advice/suggestions to help minimize damage to healthy organs/tissues which normally have PSMA avidity. Primary the salivary glands, but kidneys and liver too.

upcoming PET scan
He’s 4 months post-
Pluvicto
, and he’s read that the cancer can come back with a vengeance after
Pluvicto
. On Friday he started taking 5mg Oxycodone every 4 hours with only minimal relief. He’s using a walker which helps a lot.

first Pluvicto yesterday
So tired I could hardly get out of bed. I am also having a hard tome breathing the last couple weeks. Going to a cardiologist Tuesday. But between that and fatigue I am feeling defeated.

Spot Radiation before Pluvicto?
What about hitting the T12 tumor with spot radiation soon to slow the thing down for several months (hopefully) and start
Pluvicto
in late summer so Mr. S21 can better enjoy the summer in case
Pluvicto
proves to be debilitating?

Getting Tired of This Sh*t
Hi Gents, Prior to having my fifth round of
Pluvicto
, I had bloodwork done at Quest Labs. I had the lab perform orders from three separate doctors. For some reason, they ran my PSA two times from the same blood draw. I had two different results: 21.51 and 30.0.

Pluvicto and low Hemoglobin
My question is will the
pluvicto
eventually leave the bones and will he be able to produce red blood cells on his own? If so how long will it take? Any advice would be greatly appreciated Thank you

hair loss
I am currently only on Lupron and checking my PSA every four weeks before I start
pluvicto
. I was just curious if others lost more hair after treatment than they did during and when did it start growing back?

We went through all the treatments including 5
pluvicto
treatments. Even though his scan shows improvement in some areas it continues to spread. Maybe this is due to no meds such as Xtandi to stop the spread. I'm trying to get more information by reading people's experiences in this forum.

225Ac-PSMA-I&T works well even after Pluvicto in small trial
It's small number of heavily-treated mCRPC patients, but 42% of those who already had
Pluvicto
had a PSA reduction of ≥50% from 225Ac-PSMA-I&T. Surprisingly, no Grade 3 Xerostomia. Phase III trials will likely follow.

Losing so much weight
My husband who has had his prostate removed, radiation, chemo, hormone therapy and 5 treatments of
pluvicto
(this is during 8 years) is now about to either get more radiation or chemo. He is just not eating and losing so much weight!

big jump with PSA
BTW I started a clinical trial at BC Cancer for a derivative of Lu177 ( not exactly
pluvicto
but similar) I have had 2 infusions 8 weeks apart and so far the treatment has not been effective.
