My Pluvicto Journey is Over
I have no idea how long it's going to to get back to some kind of normalcy with both of these or how long it take
Pluvicto
to get completely out of my system. Has anyone else had a similar experience, and how long did it take you to recover?

Shortage of Pluvicto
Is there still a severe shortage of
Pluvicto
? If so, any news as to when it will be available for patients who have not started treatment? Are there waiting lists?

Preparation for Pluvicto (LU177) in the UK
Hi I'm seeing my Oncologist on Friday. Please can someone remind of the two scans you should have to determine if the treatment is likely to be effective? Many thanks

Pluvicto, Not Helping
I just had round 5 of
Pluvicto
on August 10th. I don't see where is is helping much, if any, at all. My PSA before entering round 5 is now over 400. I'm so anemic I've had two blood transfusions in the past 30 days.

PSMA scan VS Axumin scan
My husband is scheduled for a PSMA scan September 28th to determine eligibility for
Pluvicto
. His oncologist told us that an Axumin scan would do the same thing. My understanding is only a PSMA scan would tell if he is expressing PSMA. Please advise. Thank-you

Options when Docetaxel stops working
He was told he could go on
Pluvicto
but after his PET Scan he was told he is not a candidate. My question is what other options may be available? He has done 14 sessions of the Docetaxel and does not want anymore. He is very weak.

Positive results, Pluvicto
I’m at Mayo for my third
Pluvicto
(Lutetium-177) treatment. Yesterday, I had a PSMA Pet scan to check on progress. I’m happy to report that it’s all positive at this point in the game. I include below the “findings” on the radiology report from the scan which speaks for itself.

being redundant
Just had my blood work done in preparation of starting
Pluvicto
and not being able to choose wisely while driving I picked this podcast which i have heard before and have even advocated on this forum before. Dr Chetty is so brilliant and out of the box thinking that I felt I need to share it again.

Treatment options
We were hoping to get
Pluvicto
but since he is so weak that isn’t an option. I’m so upset with his oncologist and wish I had gotten an outside opinion earlier. During this time his PSA went up to 48 and now after the Lupron it is at 22.

Pluvicto side effect burning question
I had my first round of
Pluvicto
10 days ago and besides fatigue and constipation, my main issue has been burning pee for over a week. Went to the clinic and no infection was detected in urine sample.

PSA still low but cancer progressing
I asked about other potentially useful treatments such as
Pluvicto
or immunotherapy drugs but he said they were not recommended as the next step. I think he's just following the NHS script for treatment progression.

Screening for Pluvicto
Thanks to Tall_Allen I have learned about the necessity of both PSMA and FDG PET CT in screening for
Pluvicto
. I got referral for my dad for both screenings and ok, there is PSMA PET CT and than on referral from oncologist for FDG it is written:
PET CT with 18F - FDG.

Lepto meningeal involvement. No further treatment. Palliative radiation?
Spouse 10 weeks post
Pluvicto
and about to embark on a Hail Mary trial of androgen receptor degrader. But yesterday's brain MRI showed spread to dura and leptomeninges. So my lovely light and love of my life is coming to the end of the road we have walked, too briefly, together.

Surviving in retirement
At 66 my PSA was 3400 with Gleason score 4 ; started Docetaxel and Jevtana until July 23 ; Now on
Pluvicto
have 5 more treatments to go. Some bone pain and weakness in legs from chemo; but getting stronger slowly.

And of course you all know the SOC to be done and then onto
Pluvicto
. He’s getting the fourth dose on 18 October. Ever since the second dose of
pluvicto
he’s has nauseous stomach, dry mouth and extreme edema.

Xtandi vs Orgovyx
I am also very interested in
Pluvicto
treatments as yet another option of treatment. I've recently read through 123 clinical trials in regards to his specific prostate cancer so I'm willing to research any treatments/experiences. I appreciate any thoughts. 😊

Geiger counter??
My husband has been on
Pluvicto
(4 rounds so far). He also has some dementia and I’m having a hard time getting him to take radiation precautions seriously. I think objective evidence would help.
