I am moving towards the second week after My first infusion of Pluvicto. I feel like i have been drug through a dog fight. Sore, tired , no energy.......just want to sleep. Has anyone else had this experience, and how did you combat the situation.

Im 61 years old and I started Pluvicto and have had 3 infusions. At the beginning my PSA was 1.95 and now after th 3rd it now stands at 10.12 Needless to say I have stopped that treatment after 3 infusions. It didn't work for me. I was sore in the hips and biceps. Tired and sore. A brief history on me, I had my prostate removed in 2014 with a gleason score of 9. It was an aggresive prostate cancer and it spread to differnt areas on my rib cage and spine. Metastatic Bone Cancer is the main fight. I have had just about every treatment possible and it has kept me going for 10 years. This was the last one. I have to wait on a clinical trial to appear. Everyone is different and every treatment may work for one person than another. Hang in there and keep a strong mind, that's why I'm still alive today and hopefully another 10 years. Good luck and if you want to know anything else just ask.

I do feel very lucky the way things have gone, all and all. I am 85 years old as of last June 1st. I was diagnosed when i was 61, with the usual surgery because it was aggressive and had broken through the capsule. 33 radiation treatments, five years later and then several years later with the rise of my PSA, we started Lupron and Nubeqa. We did the cleansing of the blood at the Red Cross and Chemo........and now Pluvicto. I will be taking a new nausea pill called Olanzapine, 5mg. Hopefully this will get me through the dry heaves, lol

Sometimes i get sooooo down and depressed, thinking why am i even bothering, and the next day i feel like continuing............

I was also diagnosed in 2014 at age 54 Gleason 9 with metastatic in ribs and spin. Chemo and many treatments then followed.

Have you had any genetic testing of your biopsy done?

Three years ago they did genetic testing of my biopsy and found that my biopsy showed BRCA2 mutation even though my blood testing did not show this mutation. MO says this is very rare and was surprised but they started me on olaparib and abiraterone and prednisone and this has worked well for past 2 years. Might be something to discuss with your MO. Good Luck!

My husband is the same, he has had 3 now. He is taking pain killers and pretty much can’t get out of bed for 5 days, then it passes for him hopefully on day 3 at the moment.
