Pluvicto

I am moving towards the second week after My first infusion of Pluvicto. I feel like i have been drug through a dog fight. Sore, tired , no energy.......just want to sleep. Has anyone else had this experience, and how did you combat the situation.

I had my first round of Pluvicto 10 days ago and besides fatigue and constipation, my main issue has been burning pee for over a week. Went to the clinic and no infection was detected in urine sample.

My husband has been on Pluvicto (4 rounds so far). He also has some dementia and I’m having a hard time getting him to take radiation precautions seriously. I think objective evidence would help.

I had my 5th infusion of Pluvicto this past Friday. I had had tingling (like pins and needles in my shoulder and leg. Now, post pluvicto, I have terrible pain in my femur and pelvic area. HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANY OF YOU GUYS??? Hurts!!!!

I asked about other potentially useful treatments such as Pluvicto or immunotherapy drugs but he said they were not recommended as the next step. I think he's just following the NHS script for treatment progression.

Thanks to Tall_Allen I have learned about the necessity of both PSMA and FDG PET CT in screening for Pluvicto. I got referral for my dad for both screenings and ok, there is PSMA PET CT and than on referral from oncologist for FDG it is written: PET CT with 18F - FDG.

Spouse 10 weeks post Pluvicto and about to embark on a Hail Mary trial of androgen receptor degrader. But yesterday's brain MRI showed spread to dura and leptomeninges. So my lovely light and love of my life is coming to the end of the road we have walked, too briefly, together.

And of course you all know the SOC to be done and then onto Pluvicto. He’s getting the fourth dose on 18 October. Ever since the second dose of pluvicto he’s has nauseous stomach, dry mouth and extreme edema.

After my first infusion, I was sick, weak and sore from the dry heaves. This, the third day, i am starting to feel a little better. Anyone else have the same side effects??

At 66 my PSA was 3400 with Gleason score 4 ; started Docetaxel and Jevtana until July 23 ; Now on Pluvicto have 5 more treatments to go. Some bone pain and weakness in legs from chemo; but getting stronger slowly.

I am also very interested in Pluvicto treatments as yet another option of treatment. I've recently read through 123 clinical trials in regards to his specific prostate cancer so I'm willing to research any treatments/experiences. I appreciate any thoughts. 😊

On return we had a visit with my husband’s oncologist and it was decided that his last option of Pluvicto was off the table. Due to a compression fracture of his T7, he’s partially paralyzed and requires constant care and help thus making isolation an impossibility.

We will then see if Pluvicto may be an option for him also. Good luck and best wishes to everyone. N.

Pluvicto can be a life saver, but not for all, and we certainly need more treatment options.

So, I will have my first treatment with this Pluvicto treatment end of next month. I wish to minimize the expected side effects, if anyone has any firsthand experience to help minimize, and your personal experience with the results, it would be appreciated.

Finished Pluvicto in spring 23. Started out fine but went sideways. By mid May, psa and alk were on rise. MO suggested going to Xofigo but hemoglobin numbers were too low, sub 7, got transfusion. Decided to rechallenge with taxotere.

After one dose of Pluvicto, Joe’s PSA rose, and Mets are unchanged. His second dose is August 4. I asked his onc what good looks like: how will we know if P is working? When? No good answer……he’ll rescan after 3rd dose….. His QOL is lousy, from what I see, anyway.

Not sure pluvicto would work here, psma scan not lighting up yet

Tomorrow, Monday July 31st, I get my first Pluvicto Infusion and NOT knowing what to expect, I am opening the "Flood Gates" for anyone that has started, or finished this me and would be willing to fill me in on the process.
