Rheumatoid Arthritis & Actemra
Hello everyone I am new here and hope to benefit from people's experience with Actemra and specifically how it affects blood values. My son was diagnosed with Adult-Onset Still's Disease (adult form of JRA) 25 years ago. He had JRA when he was 8 years old and within a year with treatment it went into

W8R2 done at last!
After 14days of flu & hacking cough I ran & ran. Heeded everyone’s advice & started real slow. This was all about consistency of pace & breathing not about PB. Loved it, loved it. So good to be back. Only one major coughing fit but ran through it. Feeling great & looking forward to completing Week8 on

Lexapro or Zoloft better for GAD? Thoughts?
I’ve been taking Lexapro for about 10 years and it’s been fantastic, but I’m sensing it might be losing its effectiveness. For those who have taken both, was Zoloft as effective in treating GAD as Lexapro? I also take Trazadone at night for insomnia. Thank you!

Trazodone newbie
Hi, Just took my first dose of trazodone for trouble sleeping. I also recently started lexapro for anxiety/depression. I don’t love the idea of being on trazodone and becoming dependent. Is this something that anyone uses once in a while or will I have to be on for a while and then taper off? Looking

med questions
Hi everyone 🖐 So, I restarted taking Prozac after 1 1/2 (?) years being off it. I got a new psy last month, who basically said I've tried all the meds that should work (Prozac, Lexapero, Zoloft & Wellbutrin). She basically said we could try Prozac again or 2 others, but they have bad withdrawals.

Supplements for Anxiety
Tonight I tried Kava Kava tea. Def made me more relaxed. Has anyone tried theanine, Valerian root, stjohns wort, etc? I also hear a daily GABA supplement and Tryptophan is good. Anyone had any luck with any supplements or vitamin regime?

Re, your replies on my sisters "lupus" face.
Thankyou everyone for all your help ad comments, re my dear sister . She sees her dermatologist every 6 months and he has never suggested any cleanser or moisturiser. So I will be having words with him next time we go! Will definitely try some of your suggestions. Thankyou all so much.💕

Easily startled.
I don't know if this is a side effect of taking Remeron and zoloft but I feel like I easily startle and easily feel over stimulated. Like if I'm watching something, and it is slightly disturbing, I almost feel a sensory overload. Does anyone else experience this?

Uncovering New Therapeutic Targets for Airway Inflammation in Sickle Cell Disease.
A new study by De, Agrawal, Morrone et al, challenges the common notion that airway inflammation in Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) is secondary to asthma, even though the two disorders often coexist. In a recent pilot, cross sectional study, both systemic and airway inflammatory markers were compared in patients

Question about increasing tocilizumab (Actemra) dose schedule
Hi, I've had RA 8 years and failed my first biologic, Enbrel. I went on Actemra and had great results. I feel good, but my VETRA test (US based) and now my ultra-sound results for my wrists show severe disease activity. So, it feels like I'm in remission, but I'm not. I moved to the UK 8 months ago after

Medicine
Hey guys I am new to this page. I am prescribed 4 separate medications for anxiety depression but mainly OCD. I am really wanting to come off all of them as I do not feel any different at all on them. Does anyone have any advice on what it feels like to come off of Effexor XR? Lamictal? Luvox or Buspar

Sleep
I know how important sleep is, but more often than not, I only sleep 2-3 hours. My Doc is reluctant to give me a prescription for Ambien. I already take Zoloft and Buspar. I have tried melatonin but it does not help. Does anyone have suggestions for an over the counter drug I can try?

Pleurisy/Precordial Catch Syndrome
Hi. For the last 24 hours I've had sharp chest pain on left side when taking deep breaths. Usually when this happens (once every few months or so) it goes away within minutes. I've had PCS since I was a child, but worried it could be Pleurisy since it hasn't gone away. What is the difference in symptoms
