anaemia and ADT
just had full blood test before I press on with ADT aiming for 18 months and done 9 months adjuvant with RT for G9 - as posted before my oncologist seems to lean to me stopping ADT now as worries about the effect in my polio - though she isn’t a polio expert of course, she just thinks the extra gain

Need some guidance
2 years ago my daughter who is 6 now was diagnosed of ADHD and started with 10 mg of vyvanse but rapidly pass to 20 mg and ended up taking 40mg, one pill in the morning and at noon. And also take 1 mg of guanfacine Er to help her sleep at night which some time works or we need to give her melatonin.

Women are not taken seriously by most doctors when experiencing health problems.
I went through a really rough time a couple of years after I had my first child when I was about 31 years old. I had never experienced PMT prior to the birth. I was lucky. However, I became aware of gradual fatigue, and anxiety, and hot flushes. I went to my GP to ask if I could be going through the

Do I need to stop taking estrogen? Feel as if I'm choosing between mental and physical health.
So I've read a lot now- probably too much. From what I can gather from things (and I am new to this - didnt know I had endometriosis until Tuesday when they aborted my hysterectomy as my bowel is fused to my cervix) estrogen seems to be the driving force behind endometriosis. Is that true? It also seems

Over range copper and zinc
The only culprit I can think of is milk thistle. Any thoughts on over range copper and zinc? About a 10 months ago, zinc was low-ish and copper slightly over so I supplemented zinc for a short while but stopped a couple of months ago. Then the week before last started with milk thistle for liver support

My son’s PSA rose a bit today.
My son’s last PSA three months ago was <.01 but today it was <.10.It was previously as high as 22. He’s also tertiary five. His Mayo doctor told him to continue to test every three months, stay on current meds Lupron, Abiraterone/prednisone for another year and two months then stop meds and wait

I´ve chosen this title as I am going to give you a look at my life as it is, as it was when diagnosed and how I am moving forward as many people have been asking about my regime. I will keep to the facts . I am 74 this Nov and have tremor dominant PD. About 6 yr ago my GP suggested I get checked by

Is my recovery typical or more novel
I had 7=4+3 prostate cancer PSA=5.4 with a Gleason of 0.7. MRI showed the tumor had not compromised the wall of the prostate. It was an aggressive cancer genetically and was at stage three. Bad news but apparently ample margin for victory. I had ADT from 7/22 till 12/22 and received Proton beam therapy

Heme iron versus ferrous gluconate
Recent bloodwork shows a low iron problem accross several measures. PCP says to take ferrous gluconate. I remember iron discussions from a previous site in which heme iron was recommended for its better absorption, though ferrous gluconate is superior to some other forms in terms of absorption. I

think I’ve found my trigger.
I have posted on here before asking for advice. Have always suffered on and off but the last 18 months have been awful. Saw a dctr last year who just gave me sleeping tablets, saw a dctr a few weeks ago who gave me pramipexole but after reading on here and other sites about the side effects decided

Unexpected Dive in PSA
Was diagnosed with Gleason 7 (4+3) in June. PSA was initially 19.76 in April, went up to 21.78 in May to confirm first high PSA, retested again in August at 19.39. Started taking Orgovyx on 9/11 and began IMRT (37 fractions, 70-78gy to prostate, SIB boost to 85-90gy) on 9/28. Had my PSA checked again
