B12 very high with normal blood results?.
hey, hoping someone with some b12 knowledge can give me some advice for when I see my doctor. Last year I was having some b12 injections paid privately, my last one was in early August. They actually made me feel better, but had to stop because of cost. Then in October I started getting severe deficient

endo cysts and swollen fallopian tubes
I have been diagnosed with endo cysts and a swollen fallopian tube via CT and ultrasound. they said in surgery pending how bad they may have to remove one of each (they are unsure until they do the lap) but my concern is that if they are bad, could I wake up to a full hysterectomy? And if so why? thank

Endo specialist?
I have surgery booked February for my laporoscopy - my surgeon is Dr Doyle at Arrow Park hospital, is he an endometriosis specialist? (My consultant Dr Allan said I’m now under the endo team so I’m praying Dr Doyle is an Endo specialist)

Leg Pain pt 3
Writing again because one of you lovely people suggested I saw my MRI results for myself. She was right, my doctor said it was wear and tear in the back. Keep taking the painkillers and walk. But I did see the results and it is Grade 1 degenerative spondylolisthesis. He did not suggest physio. But

Hubby had his bypass
Hubby is out of surgery after his quadruple bypass. They said it went well. He's on a ventilator obviously, and they're going to wake him up in an hour or so, and see if any tubes can be removed. Thank you all so much for your support. I'm going to visit tomorrow

Blood test results
Hi I had been on 50mcg of levothyroxine for about 6 weeks approx because I bought them online since my doctor wouldn't prescribe them at the time, as I have a pending hospital appointment with an endocrinologist at the end of this year and he wanted to wait until I'd see him/her first. I told the doctor

C section vs Lap Recovery
Has anyone had both a c section and lap with excision, cysts removed and bowel shaved? Just wondering how recovery compares with the 2 surgeries. My pain was gone 2 weeks post section and I was out of bed 6 hours after surgery. Something tells me this is going to be worse! Lap scheduled in 4 weeks, dreading

Blood pressure monitor advice
I started taking Leflunomide today and know one of the regular things to be monitored is my blood pressure. To save the 8 mile (45 minute) round trip to the GP surgery I was wondering if it was worth me purchasing a monitor. But the choice is bewildering and prices seem to vary considerably. There seems

Successful follow up to previous post regarding bending the truth to obtain correct prescription level
Dear all, I wanted to let you know about my recent success in case it can help anyone facing the difficulties I faced. So, I've no Thyroid, was gradually lowered to 75 (from 150 - was 86kgs) and then put down to 50mcg Levo, where I became seriously ill. Drs used TSH testing only and put my illness

I am 70 years of age & pretty much alone
I have had one sided thyroid problem for 25yrs & tests say its working fine but I gained 21 pounds over 3 weeks, all the usual underactive thyroid symptoms but no meds. All that's on offer is surgery, I have been told for many years you have abnormal cells, not cancerous but could turn that way. I have

Post Circumcision Problems
Hi there, I had a circumcision surgery on the 17th of January. And have had some complications regarding the whole process. The wound and incision areas have all healed and have begun to look a lot better than recent. But the problem I’ve been having now is that my penis head almost likes to bury

Low heart rate
12 days ago my husband had a log hit him in the shin whilst splitting logs. At the time it came up like a tennis ball but other than that didn’t think too much of it. The swelling has gone down but he is getting pain in his leg. Not the leg they harvested from for his CABG x5). Eventually we decided
