Probiotics

I am needing ideas on use of probiotics please.I have not been able to get them he two probiotics my clinic recommended (muvagyn vaginal pessary and vitaflora wellgard probiotics)

I got optibac intimate flora which am now taking in the morning.

Then I later got Garden of life microbiome daily capsules for women (as this contains more live bacteria plus the two bacteria my clinic mentioned are found in muvagyn).

So now am taking optibac in the morning and microbiome at night.

Is this advisable?

Anyone used different probiotics at the same time before?

You really need to take vaginal probiotics to see the benefit, as oral probiotics can take so much longer to work. A good vaginal one is called BioCare Intra Fresh. My clinic also recommended one called Gyntima so I alternate between the two. Optibac did very little for me. Garden of life is better. I've just started taking Uro which I'm happy with so far. Good luck.

Thanks.I got the Biocare intra fresh. but on it was written do not take if pregnant or planning pregnancy so I kept it aside as I was scared.

Is it safe to take with less than 2 weeks to FET?

My doctor said it was fine. I am taking it all the way to 2 days before transfer.

Not safe after transfer though.

my clinic recommended getting the test and probiotic from Daye. Apparently you can use the probiotics orally or vaginally, with the later being preferable.

- one capsule Optibac for Women daily

- one capsule Bio Me Femme V daily

- one capsule Bio Me Femme V daily - vaginally

Have you done a female microbiome test with Fertilysis to check your good and bad bacteria levels?

If you have an overgrowth of bad bacteria you need to treat it with antibiotics otherwise the good bacteria will struggle to grow no matter how many probiotics you take.

Vagibiom is good as it contains a prebiotic and a probiotic.
