pessary short vaginal passage

looking for advise. I had a bladder prolapse op 8 years ago failed in less than a year. Prior to that had tried ring/ doughnut pessary but was told as I had a short vaginal passage they kept coming out. Prolapse has now come down quite significantly following a cough (I think). Not quite protruding but nearly want to try a pessary again. Has anyone been told they have a short passage if so what worked.

Had a bladder prolapse quite a few years back. I read and heard quite a few negative things about pessaries so I opted for the surgery. One night in hospital, no incisions, healed up very quickly.

Well I had a surgery five days later I left hospital after both bladder and bowel stopped working. Went home with a catheter. Then six months later it failed was told it was because I had stretchy tissues. Oh and a direct result of that op now have only one functioning kidney.
