Myocardial perfusion test results
I had the myocardial
perfusion
test back in July to rule out coronary artery problems causing my episodes of breathlessness. Promised the results in 2 weeks but have only just had them following numerous ephone calls to various departments at the heart institute.

Aneurysm having Myocardial Perfusion Stress test
Hi I would really love to hear from anyone that as an aneurysm (mine is 4.4cm) and had a Myocardial
Perfusion
stress test. I am booked in to have one on the 12th October and I'm worried if my aneurysm can take the strain.

Myocardial perfusion stress scan and dobutamine
Has anyone else had a myocardial
perfusion
stress test? I had one friday , and because they're not using the treadmill due to covid they injected me with dobutamine.. it was absolutely horrendous.. the worst thing ever..

Perfusion MRI results
Hello all I have just received some great news following a second MRI that my heart is now normal with no defects present following viral myocarditis and ongoing sensations of pain during up hill exercise. The results letter does not specify whether it is appropriate for me to now stop taking heart

UK private perfusion MRI Scan
Hi All, I have currently been waiting since May for a
perfusion
MRI scan and have just been informed the earliest its likely to be is Nov unless I get a cancellation slot. I fully understand this as the NHS is very busy but I am now considering getting a scan done privately if possible.

Stressed out by good news?!
Hey guys, Have any of you had one of these stress
perfusion
MRI scans? They show the blood flow to your heart muscle. I had mine last month and I have just got the results.

Ischaemia
have recently had a
perfusion
scan at Papworth and had the results letter back today. It says I have ‘‘inducible ischaemia in the basal inferolateral myocardium’. Cant speak to the cardiologist until next week and I cant get a definitive explanation on Google so can anyone explain this for me?

Do NHS cardiologists accept & act on the results of private scans or do they have to be redone on the NHS?
Hi, I need to have either a CT angiogram or cardiac MRI or a myocardial
perfusion
scan. If I were to have any of these done privately would the NHS accept and act on those scans if they were to show that I need a procedure on my heart or do they make you have the scan all over again on the NHS?

Myocardial Perfusion Part 2
Today I returned to the Heart Institute for the 2nd part of my stress test. I was injected again with a radioactive material following which I had an hour to eat fatty food then return for a repeat of the scans I had last week. All went well and I was able to return home a couple of hours later.

Ablation Update and Experience of Myocardial Perfusion Test
Good news is I have a new ablation date of 21 July providing my INR settles down. Meanwhile Ive had Part 1 of the stress test that looks at my arteries. I had to stop beta blockers for 48 hours and ensure I had no caffeine at all for 24 hours before the test. After I was hooked up the heart monitor

Heart issue or not
Ward Consultant said a Myocardial
perfusion
stress scan in December showed heart pumping fine. He couldn't explain why I'm getting these symptoms. I suffer long covid and a group member suggested that I should enquire about microvascular angina.

Radiation Necrosis?
I know it is difficult to diagnose so I am going to be having a
perfusion
spectroscopy MRI to confirm. Unfortunately I have to wait 6-8 weeks for this before I even know what I’m dealing with. Any experiences of similar situations would be gratefully received. Many thanks.

MRI Perfusion test
I recently found out one of my bypass grafts didn't take (skeletonised RIMA to OM) and I have to undergo a cardiac MRI with
perfusion
test. I'm unfamiliar with this test, can anyone who has had it tell me what it entails and what it tells you?

Myocardial Perfusion test
Aside from having stress echocardiagram and being on a heart monitor whilst in hospital and due to have a second ablation (first 2020) I have now been referred for a myocardial
perfusion
test which I believe involves being injected with a radio active substance to enable the medics to view my arteries

Stress Test/myocardial perfusion scan Results
Good afternoon, I had my tests carried out in Feb and despite being told I would receive the results in 2 weeks I have only just been sent them. The consultant has not written to me with his conclusions yet and I am not being seen until July. My GP is happy to have a look at it but my appointment is
