Hi, I had a stent fitted about 6 months ago and was told that I would probably ned a second one fitted in 10 year in another artery. However after having a number of chest pains I was readmitted on 1st Jan and had a second one fitted. Has anyone had an experience of such accelerated build up and what

Fainting
Hi I’m 48 and had a heart attack, 1 stent and diagnosed with diffuse CAD in July last year. Prior to that the only symptoms I had were multiple fainting episodes and esophagus pain. I had loads of coronary tests done that all came back ok with no abnormalities. I was then discharged from cardiology

Angina symptoms
Hello All, It's good to be here. I'm a 64 year old male. Two stents, bypass, ablation for AFib, pacemaker, but ongoing angina symptoms due to arterial disease that consultants are not wanting to address initially through surgery (another stent/bubble) due to risk of compromising the bypass. What

CABG and Memory loss
Hi, it's six week since my triple bypass. My scar is healing well and I'm slowly recovering from the surgery. Two things concern me, my legs are still painfully swollen and causing discomfort the other is my short term memory is shot, I'd laugh at my forgetfulness but I'm beginning to find it scary.

how do you prepare for bypass!
Hi Just after a little bit of advice on how I can prepare myself for a bypass surgery, I only found out before Xmas after an angiogram they couldn’t fit stent because of where the blockage is in the left internal mammary artery. So I’ve been referred but now my mind is going into overdrive thinking

Leg Problems after CABG / Saphenous Vein Harvested
Hi, I had a CABG x 3 about 18 months back (June 2022). During the ops my left saphenous vein was harvested. I had a stroke in the recovery room, however my question is to other folk that have had CABG and vein removal. Do you have any complications with your leg, loss of feeling, feeling heavy,

A year on from my HA
Right then bit of a long story so bear with me I'll condense it down, , I'm a 49yo male and in Dec 21 I suffered a mild heart attack! Didn't see that coming but warning signs were there! Three months prior starting in September I was getting odd back pains just below my shoulder blades it was quite random
