Achalasia, the horrible cough, swallow disease
Acalasia, the loud noisy coughing disease, over the last 20 years until I was finally diagnosed I called it cough swallow disease. As we never had a name for it. I have never lost any weight as I have been coughing and eating my food through my coughing for so many years I don't even think about it

Feeling Hopeless and no idea where to turn
I was diagnosed 15 years ago with hypothyroidism after 2 years of being told I was depressed but knowing this wasn’t the case. GP says my levels are fine but I never feel better. Constant fatigue, brain fog, aching joints lack of focus and inability to loose weight despite good diet and exercise. 10

Advice needed. New to AFIB.
Hello, I’m a 47 years old male in fairly good shape. Until this summer, I could run 5 km or bike 40 km no problems. I’ve had episodes of what I used to call “heart palpitations” for years. It was always after an excersise sprint and would last for 30 second to one minute. This would happen once

Paroxismal Afib, diet and lifestyle
Greetings from Italy! I am new to this forum, so I would like to tell my experience of Afib. I am 74, male, decent overall health except hypertension kept down with drugs, a modest oesophageal reflux and paroxysmal Afib. I have had problems of missed heart beats for the last 20 or 30 years, sometimes

Rib pain.
My son has IBS he always complains of being sore under his right rib area. GP says it’s all part of IBS and to keep taking his medication which he does but it doesn’t appear to help. He’s on Peppermint Oil caps, Audminal and Buscopan. I am afraid the GP is maybe missing something and it’s maybe more

Paroxysmal AF
Recently, over a period of 12 months I get these sudden weakness nausea fainting feelings and my heart rate shoots up. Not sure if HR is because of anxiety whenit happens or happens because of symptoms. I've had stress tests, monitor and been in hospital a couple of times but Doctors say all ok ? As

Peppermint Oil capsules
Are these good for symptoms of bloating and reflux? These symptoms seem to make me tired and I am unable to eat well and enjoy my food. Bloating is definitely putting pressure on me and even makes me slightly breathless.

Still confused
Hi, I'm not sure where to turn, I actually feel totally lost. So I've been taking peppermint oil tablets since Monday and I've noticed that when I go to the toilet not only does it smell like peppermint but my bum stings a little. Is this normal until your body gets used to it? Plus the cramps are

Should I stop Eliquis?
I'm really wondering about switching back to warfarin. There is no approved antidote for Eliquis if one happened to be in an accident. Maybe hospitals do have a special unapproved treatment, I don't know. Eliquis is very convenient but is it worth it? Warfarin you can counteract with Vit K. I am wearing

Eliquis and grapefruit
I have just started Eliquis and am confused about grapefruit. The Bristol Meyers website says nothing and I have read postings that their agents say there is no problem. But other websites like WebMD advise against it, What is the prevailing wisdom. I only eat a half per day and no juice which I have

Atrantil review
Brief overview: I think the product helped me significantly, although it was far from a miracle cure for all my symptoms. I have a diagnosis of IBS with a hiatus hernia. Atrantil is a herbal medication devised by an American gastroenterologist interested in SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth
