How can I relieve IBS pain? And how do I find what caused it?
Hi, I'm not sure if anybody will be able to help me with this but any ideas would be helpful. A bit of backstory: On the 1st October 2020 I woke up in the night with a sharp stabbing pain on my left side. I could barely move and tears were running down my face it was that painful, I managed to roll

Anyone having this problem?
I'm taking Lisinopril 20 mg mixed with Hydrochlorothiazide 12 mg, once a day. Also taking 150 mg Pradaxa twice a day and Metoprolol Succinate 50 mg once a day. My leg muscles, on both legs, from knee to thigh feel weak and sore. I was taking Eliquis but stopped that because I thought that may be what

Afib and High Altitude
Has anyone had problems going to high altitude with treated Afib? I live at a mile high but often visit an area that is closer to 10,000’ elevation. When I was not on any medication I was advised to not go to the higher altitude because of increased stroke risk. Now I am on Eliquis twice daily so I

Clarification for Ppiman and Secondtry.........
Shyman calling. Ppiman had problems trying to reduce Omeprazole dosage. One of several drugs in the PPI family (Proton Pump Inhibitors). Blocking acid production to prevent reflux. I have found several medicines that help quieten the stomach and digestive issues. If calmness can be restored and maintained

For fear of seeming ignorant,,,,,how many specialists are necessary when you have or have had DT's, Pulmonary Embolisms, and possibly heart failure. I have had PE 5 different times now. Is it important to have a hematologist if you don't need to have IRN levels checked? What role would they play? And

New to AF
Diagnosed with AF 2 weeks ago after breathing issues on a plane rushed to A&E, also had Covid. Shortness of breath tight chest I’ve had for a long, long time, thought it was down to being overweight due to unable to exercise properly with very painful arthritic knee joints. Hospital put me on ‘Eliquis

Status Update Post-atrial Cardioäblation:
Had rapid atrial quivering/fibrillation develop in Feb '21 while I was focused on avoiding a second heart attack after having had a major one 9½ years earlier. Got put on meds to see if AFib could be managed that way but worsened to the point that by Aug, my heart was tracked at 244 BPM and I'd collapsed

A big thank you for sending best wishes, support and information after I posted my concerns about going onto new drug Eliquis blood thinners, now have a 24 monitoring appointment with my local hospital, for this Friday, hoping this sheds some light onto why heart rate bounces all over the place. Best

Afib and cataract surgery
Is anyone willing to share their experience with cataract surgery? I have been reading about the procedure and I understand there may be some inflammation. I take Eliquis and unable to take NASID for inflammation.

Pradaxa Ahead Of Scheduled Cryo Ablation
I have been scheduled for my first Cryo Ablation in March for my paroxysmal AF and my EP wants me to start taking Pradaxa 30 days before. My Cardiologist has had me on Aspirin for the past 2-3 years. My ChadVas score was 1 but for the past year is 2 and I've never taken a blood thinner before. My question

I recently posted about sore joints. I did some digging on the Eliquis I'm tacking. Ever since I started taking it my joints are getting sore. I think this is my problem. The side effects of strong blood thinners can have this effect. My Dr doesn't want me to stop because I still have heart flips after

Life after watchman.
I was diagnosed with AFIB in January 2020. After taking eliquis for Two years I decided to have the watchman implant because of all the easy bruising and the expense of the eliquis. Am interested in knowing how others have done with the implant. It’s been four days since I got the watchman and today

Should I call hosp in a fib?
I had my only case of a fib in Sept and was in the hospital for a couple days. Am on eliquis, and 200 mg of flexanide pill in pocket. I went into a fib 1 1/2 hours ago, took the flec. And per my kardia, my heartbeat is fluctuating between 116 and highest 162. Should I stay home and relax and ride it
