please help. Severe anxiety ELIQUIS
Hi.. I was on here a few days ago but didn't get too much what's going on. I am not the patient- my mom is. She is quite healthy and has only had two episodes of AFib and each time was during anxiety with sinus infection and another time with anxiety and bug bite infection. The first time they blamed

Compounding pharmacy in UK for allergy medicines
Hi has anyone found a good compounding pharmacy in the UK please? I have multiple allergies and the only commercially available Piriton contains either peppermint oil or lactose you would think they would make allergy medicines without known allergens in them!

rapid weight gain
anyone else have rapid weight gain on metoprolol or Eliquis? I have been on medication for 6 months and have gained 15 lbs. so far. I exercise regularly (run, spin, elliptical rower etc) talking 4/5 days a week… I am still rapidly gaining. I don’t eat poorly or any excess sweets. I’m very frustrated

Mexican Eliquis
I frequently have gotten prescriptions from Algodones, Mexico because they are so much cheaper. I am now on Eliquis and can get it there also, but I’m a little hesitant because that is a life preserving drug. Has anyone used Eliquis or something similar from Mexico? Any comments on the efficacy of it

Had an ablation in February and everything was great until....
Hello: I was diagnosed with Afib in October 2021. The Dr had to do a cardioversion just to get it back into rhythm & was in the hospital for 30 hrs. Dr prescribed Eliquis & Amiodarone to keep it in rhythm & protect from blood clots. Had the ablation in February, had 3 months of Afib then everything

Hi, I’ve read everyone of your posts for the last year and a half, and I really don’t know how I would have managed without you all. How do you cope with stomach/colon cramping?
I have started to get them more frequently, and they are excruciatingly painful to the extent that I have no choice but to lie down for the rest of the day and hope it somewhat passes by the following day (just for it to come back a couple of days later). Even sitting up can be very uncomfortable!

Comments about Metropolol
I don’t read much mentioned about Metropolol. I have been prescribed Eliquis and Metropolol for AFib and wonder why the majority of afibers are not taking this combination. I would love to read comments about especially the drug Metropolol! And why do I read the mention of some wanting to get off Eliquis

Apixaban
I noticed this week that Eliquis Apixaban has been replaced in my medication by Teva brand, just wondering how this is being received by people. Having experienced previous problems with brand changes with other medications I am initially a bit apprehensive.

When is bradycardia afib?
I think I am confused about what is wrong with me. I thought I noticed something wrong with my heartbeat in that it didn't seem to be following the normal procedure of going faster when I exercised then slowing down when I rested. My GP checkef it with a simple EKG and immediately saw something wrong

Reactions to Flecainide and Amiodarone?
I am so glad to find this forum. Really validating to see how incredibly different people’s experiences with Afib are and the willingness to share. I’ve been in Afib persistently for a little over three months now. It returned several months after my first cardioversion, and hasn’t stopped except

Eliquis and minor surgery.
Eliquis and minor surgery. I’m scheduled for minor surgery and the doctor wants me to stop taking Eliquis 48 hours before and 48 hours after the surgery. I’m not sure that’s a good idea. Any feedback would be welcome. Thank you. Four

Cryoablation vein seepage
My procedure was done yesterday, and I noticed some seepage fro m the groin veins this morning. I overdid it by driving home and that's what caused it. It stopped as soon as I quit driving. Am wondering how serious this is, since I'm new to all this, and on Eliquis. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Eliquis/but easy bruiser
Hi, Thoughts: I have been diagnosed with PSVT and a 30 monitor detected only one episode of Afib. My apple watch is what prompted my seeing a cardio as it detected irregular heartbeats. I was on eliquis and no episodes and not spikes, so cardio said to stop taking it and see how it goes. Well, watch
