Can too many ablations cause “stiff heart”?
i’m at 69-year-old male that has had four oblations in the last eight years for a fib. I am now in a flutter persistent 100% of the time. I’m considering another ablation in November by one of the top doctors in the country. I Heard that sometimes too many oblations can cause a stiff heart which I am

2 months post ablation and frequent extrasystoles.
So I'm 2 months from my 1st ablation and supposed to now stop taking Flecainide but I seem to be permanently having extrasystoles, having hardly had them at all previously. They are fairly asymptomatic with me only sometimes feeling palpitations. I've also had a couple of Afib episodes but it's the sudden

Fatty Liver with Gall Bladder removal?
Wondering how many here had a fatty liver that progressed after gall bladder removal. From what I have read once the gall bladder is removed ox bile or bile salts should be taken to help the liver process the fat in your food. I didn’t know this until 1 year after my removal so I wonder if this had anything

Start of first cycle
I am just about to start my first cycle. Anyone else at the same point in their journey? I had a mock cycle which went well with Progynova increasing my lining really well but it also showed up 3 polyps, which were large and needed removing as they could have affected the transfer. All removed now

Tricky question... painful topic
Hi all, I've been with my current partner for 7 years, married for almost 2. We've been struggling to conceive for 6 of those years after a failed vasectomy reversal. Sinus rhythm with supraventricular ectopy.
Last December my Kardia mobile saw AFIB when I was sitting on a plane coming back from Egypt. It is not the first time, in fact there have been dozens of times when I have seen it. I went to the GP and he sent the kardia output to the cardiologist. Several cardiologists disagreed about the kardia

Cardiac Ablation Looks Successful!
I was diagnosed with Paroxysmal Afib in April of 2022. During my annual physical my PCP heard what he thought was a murmur, and called in a consult. After testing the afib was confirmed. I never noticed it, but started monitoring with a smartwatch and began to feel the episodes as they progressed. This

Lightheaded after AF episode
I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation in October 2021 and prescribed Edoxaban. Fortunately I have only been experiencing AF edisodes about once a month but when I do I find it very frightening. It’s probably the effect of passing so much urine but I find after the episode my blood pressure drops very

NSAIDS and Afib.
After a concussion last January, I started taking Naproxen regularly. AND I started having break-thru Afib episodes. My docs KNEw I was taking this but said nothing. My cardiologist who knows I have Afib said nothing. So, I read about it and yep, people with Afib are cautioned NOT to take NSAIDS!!!

How effective is cardioversion for Persistent AFib?
Thank you to all those who have recently posted replies to my recent question ‘Has anyone had problems with Flecainide not working?’. Your answers have clarified the some of the options to discuss with my cardiologist, hopefully in a couple of days. I propose to gradually stop taking Flecainide but

Experiences with Metoprolol
I was dx with Parosyximal Afib in 2019 and, after the customary course of starting with a beta blocker - Metoprolol, which didn't work - and then adding flecainide which did help but not prevent breakthrough episodes, had an ablation on March 16 of 2022. After the ablation, I weaned off of the metoprolol

Almost forgot I have PC
I have been off the grid for a while. Back in late November, I started having bladder problems including bleeding, urgency, frequency and incontinence. In December I was diagnosed with stage 3/b bladder cancer. In late January I had open Cystectomy and was in the hospital for 10 days. My MO put my PC

Dobutamine stress test
I've just received a letter with an appointment for a dobutamine stress test. No explanation why and I still haven't had results from my 24hr monitor and CT angiograms done two months ago. My consultant appointment was cancelled and I'm still waiting for a new one. My echocardiagram was normal. I'm a
