I feel weird after taking meconerv forte and ginsomin. Is it advisable to continue combining them with ligaba?
My latest symptoms made my doctor place me on
pariet
, meconerv forte, ginsomin, melotamin and ligaba. I discovered that I feel very low mood after taking the drugs.

Can b12 be administered together with proton pump inhibitors?
Recently, my new doctors prescribed meconerv, ligaba, ginsomin and
pariet
. My worry is that I don't know if it's right to take B12 capsules with PPI since PPI interferes with the absorption of b12 in the food. Can someone help me please.

Blood Work
Hello Friends, I asked this question on my original thread but someone suggested I start a new one. I was diagnosed with Autoimmune Atrophic Gastritis 2 weeks ago and have been having a hard time mentally . My family Dr this past Friday sends me the blood tests results and says they cannot comment

How often to Self Inject
Hello all. I was just wondering what you all think about how often we should inject with Vit B12. I had been taking shots since about last Dec of 22, but even though it helped, didn't help much. So after finally being diagnosed with PA, I told my wife to inject me every day for 30 days to sort of give

Positive IFA, Negative Parietal Cell, B-12 injections affect IFA test
Hello, I recently tested positive for intrinsic factor blocking antibody but the result of my parietal cell antibody test was negative. I’m curious if other members have had this same experience? My doctors have suspected a PA diagnosis for several years. An IFA test about five years ago produced

parietal cell antibody lab results
I’m having trouble interpreting my lab results. My Parietal Cell Antibody IgG value is 33.2 units and it said the standard range is 0.0-24.9 units. So it’s above the standard range but not by much. Apparently above 25 units is positive so that means I’m positive? I just want to confirm.

GP refusing to offer IFAB Test
I recently requested and Intrinsic Factor Antibody test with my GP and was told there's no need to do this test if my Parietal Cell antibody test was negative/normal. The Parietal Cell test was done in Jan 2021 and I assumed the IFAB was done at the same time and also came back normal. (I was unaware

Experience with stroke and CMT
Hi all Recently (a couple of months ago) I had a TIA. Since then I've been experiencing a lot of fatigues and generally running out of energy - the whole half empty battery thing. I'm trying to work out if its the stroke, the CMT or the CMT affected by the stroke or ?? I've been precribed Atorvastatin

Just been approved for Vitamin B12 injection treatment.
hello everyone this is my first post. I have been experiencing many of the symptoms of functional b12 deficiency/pernicious anemia for close to 7 years. My doctor was reluctant for whatever reason to authorize the injections, even though I had a positive parietal cell antibody test. I guess my question

Parietal Cell Antibody test refused by GP
I posted a few weeks back about my Dad who I suspect has b12 absorption problems either as a result of low stomach acid or PA. He tested negative for IF antibodies so zi asked a GP at his surgery if they would test for Parietal Cell antibodies. She didn't seem to know what I was talking about?! Said

What are the Significant Tests to Determine Pernicious Anemia
Hello Everyone...I'd like to start by saying how much I appreciate each of you. I have learned an enormous amount of information since joining this group and it has helped me in so many ways; one of which is how to form questions to ask my doctors (I go in prepared with written questions as my brain

Normal blood levels mean anything?
I generally have normal b12 levels in the 500-600 range but have symptoms that mimic b12 deficiency. Sometimes my folate levels are low and I supplement there but was wondering if b12 injections are the next step. My doctor did a parietal cell antibody test and that was high at 30 but mma was below

Assistance with Potential misdiagnosis.
Hi All, I was unsure where to turn and you guys are my last hope! In July 2020 I was diagnosed with MS ( Multiple Sclerosis ) due to having some numbness and tingling in legs and foot and cognitive problems ( forgetful and thinking issues ) and extreme fatigue. I then had an MRI which revealed lesions

Doing the best with what we have
I've really enjoyed reading some of these posts written by people that deal with CMT and overcoming obstacles. You all are very courageous and I admire you all. It was a huge disappointment to be diagnosed with CMT when I was 11 years old but even worse when I lost my vision at the age of 12 and had

B12 Testing
My GP tested my B12 in late June and it was 248. She gave me a B12 (Cyanocobalamin) injection on June 30th without doing any other tests. I then went to see a neurologist and she couldn’t believe that the GP had not done more testing. The neurologist has me scheduled today for the following tests: B12
