GERD problem

Hello, I'm experiexperiencing Gerd , I was diagnosticated with it long time ago in 2019 but since then I didn't pay so much attention to it the symptom wasn't so bad and most of them was threated with anti-acid like Gaviscon and such or sometimes the reprepazol(pariet) but now it starts to be worse so much worse that I was thinking it was a cardiac problem(chest burn, difficult to breath and so on) but all the exam made on the heart side was negative. The worse symptoms of all is the lump to the throat , which becomes more light when I burp but now is much more difficult even to burp. Other symptoms are pain to the cardias and chest burn but less. Gaviscon doesn't help me so much and I'm not sure if I can take it more time per day I don't want to exagerate with that. So the doctor gave me pantoprazol and before I took only the pariet which I stop in favor of the new medicine but I notice that it didn't do so much compared to the pariet so I think I will stop again the pantoprazol and take again the Pariet. Does anyone have similar symptoms as mine? What strategy was taken in place? So I can talk with my doctor too

I'm sorry you are suffering. You could change upur diet for a while to a low acid one to see if it helps.It helped me but took a few months.Read Dr. Jamie Kaufman's book Acid Reflux Diet. Good luck.
