Stiff chest
It does feel muscular or skeletal and is pretty much under control with
paracetamol
but I did wonder how long does it take to get fully fixed in the rib cage dept?

Chest infection and Pred
Paracetamol
and drinking honey, lemon, cider vinegar and ginger. Question.... Would raising steroids help my bad chest? Or do I ride it out?

I have a steroid nasal spray that I hadn't needed for some time so started to use it again and with occasional
paracetamol
this kept things under control for a couple of weeks, then it started to get worse with constant severe headaches around my forehead and behind my eyes which
paracetamol
just wouldn't

Flare ir something else
It became worse during the morning so I too 400mg ibuprofen, then early afternoon 1000mg
paracetamol
, then late afternoon 400mg ibuprofen again. The pain continued. I went to band for a two hour rehearsal ( I currently play flute, so think of my arm positions) and managed ok.

should I increase my Pred once again?
I’ve been in a great deal of continuous pain and find
paracetamol
and cocodimol 8mgs is barely helping with the pain. Should I temporarily increase my dose of Prednisolone to help with inflammation if so what would you recommend?

Paracetamol with gastritis?
Can you take
paracetamol
if you have gastritis? I have pains in my shoulders and need to take something to relieve it. Obviously I don't want to aggravate my gastric symptoms

Pain and no help
She said
paracetamol
should be strong enough pain killer. I also have had my sleeping tablets taken off me, even though they were working. But this new pain in the middle of my chest is leaving me in pain and breathless.

What would you do?
I am happy to continue with the Bisoprolol but don't want to stay on the anti-coagulant as I have severe back pain and want to be able to take Ibuprofen, as
paracetamol
don't really help.

5 days post pacemaker battery change pain
I have taken regular
paracetamol
and ended up taking cocodamol at night time as uncomfortable every time I move. I am increasing activity each day. It is slow going. All the big scary stuff appears fine, no signs of infection or heart trouble, it’s just painful.

Prednisolone and osteoarthritis
As I posted recently, after more than a year of taking 2.5 mg of pred daily, at long last I had an appointment with a rheumatologist who advised me to reduce to 2 mg and then by 0.5 mg reductions at intervals to get down to zero pretty quickly. I'd experienced before that when I reduced my pred dose

mastectomy
Well my surgery went well,Only problem was as I expected low oxygen levels after the anesthetic. so glad I opted for Mastectomy-would never have coped with further operations and up to 18 months of treatment if I had opted for reconstruction..Only appts now are with a district nurse to check dressings

re-starting preds after a break
The GP said best to try
paracetamol
x 8/day rather than rush into steroids again, while I have some scans and get referred to rheumatology. I have but minimal effect.
