Nortriptyline.
I was taking up to 8
paracetamol
a day, waking up at3,4,5 am with headache and reaching for
paracetamol
, now I get a good 7/8 hours sleep nightly and don’t wake up with headaches. I would recommend these but always speak with your doctors 😁 https://www.nhs.uk/medicines/nortriptyline/

advice re knee pain.
I already use butec patches, tramadol and
paracetamol
. I have also resorted to brufen, though I’m not meant to due to a severe stroke 5yr ago. I’ve tried ice and heat with little benefit. Does anyone have other options. also is it normal for the pain to go from mid shin to the outer thigh and hip.

Doctor won't diagnose PMR
My GP has just left me on NSAIDS and
paracetamol
with physio. It's not working. How common is it to have PMR with no obvious inflammation? Also, if cortisol relieves PMR, is it fair to say that the cause of PMR is adrenal insufficiency, possibly caused by trauma or prolonged stress?

virus? or flare?
I never used to take anything before I had PMR , but now I've had to resort to
paracetamol
. It takes the edge off the grotty feeling especially at night. I know that
paracetamol
doesn't make PMR pain better.... So what |I'm wondering is could it be to do with PMR?

New to T3, advice please
Other symptoms I have are achy neck, achy lower back, achy calves, a general unwellness where I feel I have to take
paracetamol
or ibuprofen. I have a query diagnosis over chronic fatigue/long covid but I suspect my symptoms are low immune system related and inadequate dosing.

Negative SVT Ablation experience
The nurse kept asking me if I felt sleepy, as she had given me two shots of fentanyl and liquid
paracetamol
. I said no I’m wide awake and very uncomfortable, I could feel everything. She then looked at my arm, which had swollen up like a tennis ball!!

Coming off Naproxen safely?
I'd like to come off Naproxen gently and just take
Paracetamol
. I'm taking 2 x500 mg a day after meals. I'd be grateful for any experience or advice to avoid the risk of clots or a stroke ? Thanks

Pending Hysterectomy Advice
Currently managed by a combo of
paracetamol
, ibuprofen and mefanemic acid, as well as a mini Tens machine, but increasingly requiring cocodamol/stronger pain relief. This weekend just gone was the first time in a while I’ve remained horizontal on the sofa.

knee pain post surgery
He has been to see numerous GPs who have prescribed ibuprofen and
paracetamol
which was useless especially as he should never have been prescribed ibuprofen as he take a blood thinner. Now he has been given codamol and this is not working either.

AF and Arthritis
GP has been less than helpful, I've resorted to
Paracetamol
and localised topical pain relief (Voltorol) because obviously NSAIDs are a no-no and I don't want to upset the AF.

could I have your opinion on this
I tried
Paracetamol
but it didn’t seem to help which made me think it could be a flare. I upped my pred to 5mg but after three days there was no improvement, so went to 10 mg. After three days again there has been no improvement.

Taking ibuprofen while on a low dose of prednisolone
The best pain relief I had before was from taking both ibuprofen and
paracetamol
(on its own, the latter makes little difference), but I’ve also been told I shouldn’t take ibuprofen while on pred.
