Tonsillitis
So 2 days ago my sore throat started. Yesterday I noticed white spots on tonsils, went doctors and got prescribed Phenoxymethylpenicillin ( take 2 tablets 4 times a day). But today the white spots are even worse. Should the penicillin be working by now and reducing the white spots?

Hi everyone, I hope you’re not all suffering atm. Well I just had to share my good news. So I’m in the grip of a terrible flare can’t tell you the pain that I’m in but I bet you

Recurrent Cellulitis - genital area … therefore Trimethoprim 100mg
I’ve had single leg Lymphoedema for 15 years now and this has been well-managed with stockings, exercise and skin care etc. Recently I’ve had monthly cellulitis attacks that always start in the genital area and spread a little. I carry Penicillin and this clears it up within 24 hours (therefore mild

Seriously questioning my doctor, need your advice!
I am at stage 4 GFR 23, Type 1 diabetic for 43 years. I had one nephrologist and was not happy with my care. I dropped him and was referred to my current doctor two years ago. My ckd was caused by immunosuppressive drugs when i had a pancreas transplant. I was told by many doctors that nothing could

High liver enzymes and b12 levels in my blood
Hi all. I haven't been feeling well for a few months. Very run down, tired, nauseous, abdominal pain. Went to the doctors last week as had blood in my stool. Had results back yesterday and I have a high level of b12 (I don't take supplements) and high levels of liver enzymes in my blood. Next step ultrasound

A bit of everything does you good so they say
Hi last Wednesday went to Dr with sore throat, turned out it was tonsillitis. Was prescribed phenoxymethylpenicillin 1000g a day for 10 days. By Thursday had bad head cold, by Friday chest infection. Hoping the AB I have will take care of this too. This is Monday still bringing up thick green rubbish
