Phase 1 trials
I am now facing
Paclitaxel
and dread the prospect. I am considering and being considered for a phase 1 trial and wondered if anyone has any thoughts on how beneficial a phase 1 trial would be for me. Thank you for any opinions, thoughts and experiences.

My break from chemo was fantastic!
I had a break from
Paclitaxel
(supposed to be weekly Feb to end of August) and had an amazing holiday! Hubby, mutt, and I went off in our campervan from home in Essex up & down the UK. N. Yorkshire (photo is me at RHS Harlow Carr Garden), Ayrshire, Cumbria, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, and home.

What is your experience with Gemzar?
She went onto
Paclitaxel
then Carboplatin but no difference and then lastly put onto Gemzar and it has changed her CA count to 170 at the last test. Has anyone else had experience with this drug and what side effects did they have. I am trying to get them onto this lovely helpful site.

New here and been struggling, especially with paclitaxel
I'd really appreciate hearing about other people's experience of
paclitaxel
and any suggestions (apart from rest) which could perhaps help. Thanks so much.

Weekly Taxol
The carboplatin has stopped working but they are now suggesting weekly doses of
paclitaxel
. I am not curable so it will only be a case of keeping the cancer down. I havenât had weekly chemo before and wondered how it works. Do you have to have a blood test every week as well as the chemo?

My sister has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I'm new here so would appreciate any information given.
She is having
paclitaxel
and carboplatin. I was reading earlier of CA125 levels. Hers was 325. Is that high? It seems so to me. She shaved her head two weeks ago, and I have to say she looks fab. I can't tell you how proud I am of my sister, she's unbelievable.

Granulosa cell tumour - chemo advice
They have said it's a tricky one, as GCT can return - I can choose whether to have chemotherapy (
paclitaxel
and carboplatin every 3 weeks for 5 months) or not - they say it's so rare and doesn't always respond to chemo, that it's hard to say whether chemotherapy could actually help prevent a return or

Neuropathic pain in the limbs and neck
Had surgery and chemo - Carboplatin and
Paclitaxel
. Now I'm on Bevacizumab. Next mount will be the last infusion. I have pain in my limbs and neck for months now. Sometimes I don't have the strength to stand on my feet. I can't bend my head to the sides.
