Paclitaxel or capecitibane? Bone marrow infiltration and bone mets, low haemoglobin and can’t keep having transfusions….have to choose one (have been on palbociclib) and on nothing for over 6 months. Thank you for any suggestions xx

Oh, yeah! Great news, celebration time! Half the time when I've had not normal blood work, it's resolved itself by the next time for blood work. Hope yours will be similar.

Thank you, but sadly this has been going on since last autumn. Kate

Although I follow this site occasionally, I have never had much to offer. But I would like to let you know that I was on IV Paclitaxel and my oncologist had to reduce the dosage a number of times because of my low white blood cell count. Then a CT scan showed progression so I'm now on IV Vinorelbine, which also had to be reduced. Oncologist returning from holidays next week and said she will be considering Capecitabine for me .I also have congestive heart failure so that is a concern, apparently, about the Capecitabine. Doubt this helps much but thought I'd share it with you.

I had the Paclitaxel, there were the two options but my oncologist felt that the Paclitaxel would be better . It has been a tolerable treatment for me . Luann
