Pins and needles in hand/arm
I have a
pacemaker
for trifacicular block but I also have an areterial flutter. I was having pins and needles on diagnosis but gp/cardiologist said it was not related and would go away.

He has a heart
pacemaker
following a heart attack several years ago when he was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I have suggested he gets full blood tests done and he will be joining thyroid UK and this forum soon but in the meantime would be grateful for any thoughts? Thank you!

Anybody had a CRT pacemaker fitted to correct left bundle branch block?
I am hesitant about having a
pacemaker
at the current time as I do not want to risk what is a good QOL. Any advice welcome.

Keto diet for lipedema? NEW MEMBER as of Nov 1, 2019
I'm 75 and have had other medical problems that I have handled well and are well controlled (atrial fib with a
pacemaker
and Watchman device) but lymphedema has thrown me for a loop. Doctors seem to have a 'just live with it' attitude.

Can You Have Both Procedures ?
The doctor at the hospital put a 24 hr monitor on me 2 weeks ago and am waiting to go back on the 29th Oct to discuss the results .....but today there was a letter in the porch from the hospital stating that I had missed an appointment. and that with my condition would maybe benefit from having a

Questions to ask before my pacemaker gets fitted
I'm having a
pacemaker
as my heart rate has been dropping into the 30s, although typically that's not happened now for a couple of months, so they are planning to set it to not drop below 60bpm via the
pacemaker
. thanks for any advice Liz

Pacemaker update
Hi here's my latest news, I had a
pacemaker
fitted at 71 yrs of age 3 days ago after a successful ablation for SVT (AVNRT) 6 months ago, but I was still bradycardic with HR as low as 29 bpm at night & 39/55 bpm during the day with spikes of 157 bpm during light exercise!

When to say "enough is enough"
I also had a
pacemaker
fitted. Unfortunately it did not help with the breathlessness although I have been able to return to work and led a reasonable life with a few adjustments. This year I had my Mitral valve replaced and again have just returned to work.

AAIR pacemaker and Cordarone
My electrophysiologist has advised implanting a single lead
pacemaker
and staying on cordarone. (I'm naturally Bradycardic and even the slightest medicine makes it worse). Has anyone been advised similarly? This is for SNRT and Abnormal automaticity that was found in the last EP study..

Pacemaker in 30s?
I will need to go back and have a second ablation for the outside of my heart and the following day they will do a
pacemaker
. I am just so taken back by all this. To be told this won’t kill you to you need a
pacemaker
is unreal.

Another ablation or perhaps a pacemaker?
Some might remember my earlier posts on this forum. My husband had his first ablation mid March. He "sailed" through it and didn't have any real side affects just all positive. He very gradually got back into his exercise routine although was never able to run more than 15 minutes on the treadmill
