Holiday approach
Has anyone had a
pacemaker
fitter and how long is it before you can go abroad for a holiday? How long is it before you can go the gym again?

Problems with small arteries
I have
pacemaker
fitted for irregular heartbeat, although reading the recent BHF magazine my symptoms fit perfectly for problems with the small arteries. I have been taken to A&E where they confirm no heart attack.

ECG lesson part 2
As I said previously, the heart has a natural
pacemaker
which sends signals through the heart in an ordered sequence to initiate a cardiac cycle/heart beat. This occurs from top to bottom.

Pacemaker
Was told I need a
pacemaker
for bradycardia with a few extensive pauses. Cardiologist told me he couldn't schedule the procedure until the end of May. Have others experienced such a lengthy delay? Feel as though there's a chance I could pass out at any time without the
pacemaker
.

Week 6 - the AV node ablate
The transfer of pacing from my own heart
pacemaker
to the artificial
pacemaker
was seamless and I was unaware that it had happened. The impact this time was not physical but psychological and quite a difficult hurdle to overcome.

Back on Track!
Anyway yesterday I was up bright and early and still using Jo Whiley as my
pacemaker
set off and felt really good. Again ran on past the 30 min mark and actually covered 3.29 miles in just over 33 mins 51 secs less than I covered 3.27 on my 1st post graduate run.

Exercise with pacemaker
I was implanted with a
pacemaker
last May for trifacicular block (slow/stopping rhythm) pretty much a-symptomatic ....I also have an artirial flutter which does cause discomfort when I have an episode. I am trying to keep fit, lose weight and generally keep mobile.

Mum suffered Brain Hypoxia 4 days ago. I feel So Lost And Confused
So this first consultant said that hopefully we can get your mum to a more stronger state so in the long run we can fit her a
pacemaker
to help reduce the chance of a cardiac event happening again the future.

Side effects of drugs for Heart Failure
In 2002 at the age of 65 I had an operation to replace my Mitral & Aortic valves with mechanical ones; they also fitted me with a
Pacemaker
. Since then I have been on Anti-coagulants; which involves the regular blood tests to balance the the INR.

HF or not HF - That is the question!
She has a
pacemaker
and we see a EP every 6 months to check on her status and the status of the battery life in the PM. For a few years now, he has “intimated” that my mother has HF and valve problems. She also has tachycardia and edema in her lower legs, and breathlessness.

AF progression, Pacemaker & Heart Failure
Indeed just a few days ago I had an MRI for a totally different reason not related to my AF which required my
Pacemaker
(PM) to be turned off during the MRI process and back on again afterwards.
