Hi just want to say hi to everyone! Want to wish Mary and Kirstin a speedy recovery and hope you stay! Well!!! My thoughts and prayers with you always! I’m better from Pneumonia, but still have cough! Can Pneumonia make u exhausted even when ur over it! Since my 3 month bout with Pneumonia I’m exhausted! I will be have procedures on my heart on December 4! I don’t want to do this just have bad feeling or I’m just scared and I never get scared of anything! It’s to see if I need Pacemaker, but even if I don’t need one, which I doubt I do! They will put this gadget in my heart to monitor me! It’s like getting a cardiac catherization ! Nothing too invasive, but I’m not happy about it! My husband in Nursing home and I find it very lonely without him! I miss watching out favorite TV shows together! It’s hard! My son Keith hardly hears anymore and has Lived past his life expectancy! He’s my right arm! He’s such a good boy! He has rare form of Mental Retardation called Williams Syndrome! I keep him up to date on everything! Thanksgiving in USA coming and I wish those that celebrate A Very Happy Thanksgiving! All those who don’t celebrate it too! Godspeed...

Hi Deb,

I hope the Cardiologist who sent you to see if you need a Pacemaker knows that you are likely to clot and also is knowledable of APS etc. Does he know you well and your problems?

I take yearly Echocardiographs with doppler as I have pulmonell hypertension but it is steady. Do you have heartvalve issues also? They can see that on an Echo . They do not want to do a Cardiac Catherization on me before I am very breathless which I am not as i do not have Pneumonia.

Probably this gadget is good for you to feel better afterwards when they can see what it is all about. I know very little about heart-issues. Please Deb, tell us how it goes for you!

I feel fine as always, as long as I keep my INR in the right place! On November 12 i got a new grandchild-boy! How many adopted grandchildren do you have?

Did you manage to go to Nashville on Sept/Oct and do "honkey tonkey" (was that correct)? I do not know what it is though.

Godspeed....from Kerstin

My cardiologist that I know very well sent me to top Arrythmia doc whom I use to work with! I just don’t feel right about this and I have no idea why! Yes Honky Tonking is correct! It means u go listening to country music at different Pubs and drink!!! Lol... Yes we did and had great time! When we came back it was 55 degrees here while 100 degrees in Nashville and within a couple of days I relapsed to Pneumonia again! Still wheezing and not complete yet but getting there! I can’t believe what it takes out of you! My get up and go got up and went!!! Lol... Godspeed and thx for ur quick reply!

Thank you, I hope you continue to get better, I am fine now, thank you very much. I hope you can join some local clubs or something and meet some people if you are feeling lonely etc, it must be tricky for you. MaryF

Hi, glad your on road of recovering from pneumonia, I can say it takes months for a person without immune problems to get back to full strength, especially the fatigue, so be kind to yourself and rest up, listen to your body, you will get there.

Enjoy Thanksgiving.

Kirsten has given good advice re cardiologist so no more to say there, hope it all goes to plan xx

Pneumonia can take months to fully recover from so please take time to rest and relax as much as you can.

I’ve only just returned home from hosp following yet another bout of pneumonia and I know I’m going to take things easy for a while.

It can be very lonely without your partner try and find a group you can go to to have a bit of socialisation, or a club whose interests you share.

Love and hugs

J
