5-years Today ... and counting! :)
Starting with a 227 PSA and 1 met in my spine, I’ve had radiation to the spine, 6 rounds of chemo, 4 1/2 years of ADT, a prostatectomy, and implanted a
pacemaker
. Worth every bit of it! Amazing what they can do to treat PCa these days. I’m incredibly fortunate.

Loop Recorder & Pacemaker information
Just three weeks ago got
pacemaker
and when I went in for a checkup I asked about a particular time and date as I'd felt miserable with heart jumping and pounding. But the device showed nothing unusual happening at that time? Anyone every experience the same thing?

Do You Have Dark Urine Caused by Anti-coagulants or Blood Thinners?
I was put on Xeralto 20 mg after having 4 cardiac arrests & a
pacemaker
put in, June 2018. I have occasional AFib episodes, but hardly ever feel them. About 4 months ago I started getting dark urine in the evenings and tests showed blood.

Is 92 too old to have pacemaker fitted?
Her doctor phoned last week to say she had been looking at her notes and wants her to have an ECG because she thinks her problem may be sorted out with a
pacemaker
. Does anyone know anyone so old who has successfully tolerated the trauma and discomfort of having one fitted at this advanced age.

My AF story.
On the last occasion I completely collapsed and the result of that was I needed a
pacemaker
which really knocked me for six. It didnt stop the af and I gladly accepted av node ablation which Im pleased to report solved my problem.

Is my cardiac pacemaker functioning?
My
pacemaker
is set at 60 bpm. I normally don't think about it: but today I took my blood-pressure (which was normal) and my pulse-rate was 46. Should I be concerned?

Just wondering ... those of you who have had
pacemaker
how long it took you to feel more "normal". I'm in my 70's, active and healthy EXCEPT for the afib stufff.

My husbands haematocrit level is being allowed to go way too high because they won’t let him go to clinic. Worried!
He has been diagnosed with Polycaethemia 2004 He has history of emboli in lungs He has aneurysms in legs/ aorta
Pacemaker
I’m worried that his treatment is on hold because of COVID 19.... Is this right?

Living with AFIB how?
I then had 2 cardioversions unsuccessful, 3 ablations within 2 years, resulting in pulmonary vein stenosis and stenting and a
pacemaker
but afib free since 2017. I’m now in full afib again as I started persistent for past 3 weeks. After doing all of the above it is beyond upsetting.

Blood Pressure rise along with heart rate
My heart rate is usually in the low 69's controlled by a
pacemaker
. For months I have discovered that my heart rate becomes a little erratic (80-100) when I go to bed. On a hunch I checked my BP last night while my heart rate was elevated and it was about 150/95.

AF clots
I had poor lower limb circulation and blue extremities but no one took any notice until I required a
pacemaker
five years ago. I’ve been fine in myself, rather enjoyed the intellectual interest and physical challenges and involved myself heavily in health research.

Parkinson’s vs MSA-P
I can’t have an MRI because I have a
pacemaker
. My CT shows no atrophy of my brain. Is there any other test which might give my MDS the ability to narrow down my diagnosis? It would be nice to know if my autonomic symptoms are MSA-P. Or,if this is a diagnosis of Parkinson’s.
