Ticagrelor and diarrhea
I was put on 90mg of Ticagrelor then had to come off them 5 days before having my
pacemaker
fitted. After restarting these again my stomach has been so upset with pains, cramps and uncontrolled diarrhea now for over 2 weeks.

still getting angina
in Sept, 2023 I had a
pacemaker
fitted. Angiogram showed I had the start of plaque in 2 arteries, but not enough for a stent. cardiologist said that I am fine, but I am still struggling with my breathing, especially uphill.

Post Pacemaker
The cardiologist said go back to 40 you have the
pacemaker
now. I don't want to feel tired all the time. Sorry for the moaning I know people have more difficulties but the last couple of years hasn't been great. Many thanks in advanced.

2 lead pacemaker to CRT PM
My cardiologist said he would change my 2 lead
pacemaker
to a CRT PM which I believe paces the r/h side atrium and ventricle (same as the two lead I currently have) but also paces the L/H ventricle maintaining synchronisation.

AVnode ablation
I have a
pacemaker
with wires in my ventricles and my heart rate is very well controlled. It's the afib which is so bothersome. After discussion with my drs, my EP is pushing the AV node ablation. But to tell you the truth, it's scary for me. What is your experience if you have had it?

fainting/ syncope and heart condition
I’ve now been told my top options are ablation surgery or
pacemaker
. I’m only 26 and it’s really scary for me and I’m suffering with constant panic attacks and worry it’ll happen again before I get treatment. I just want to know if anyone has been through the same and can give me any advice

Pacemaker delay
A
pacemaker
appointment was then made for the 5th December, he has now just had a phone call to say that because he had the cardioversion he cannot have the
pacemaker
fitted. I got the impression it was something to do with the rivaroxaban. Has anyone had a similar experience.

2) For anyone in the UK who has decided to go private, are you happy to share approx costs for a defib
pacemaker
? My heart stopped for 24 seconds on the seizure they monitored, so I’m anxious and my whole world is changing. Just trying to look for some answers and a way forward. thanks x

medical alert bracelet
I had a
pacemaker
fitted three months ago. I don’t know whether to buy a medical alert bracelet or not. Would appreciate other peoples opinions. Are useful or a waste of money

My Kardia says it is 140 BPM but I believe the Kardia is unreliable if you have a
pacemaker
. Trying to count by using my finger on the side of my neck is difficult because of the crazy rhythm. Any one got any ideas. 140 BPM is fast for me. Sorry for rant.

'Dentist
The hygienist asked if I had a
pacemaker
as the implement he was going to use to remove plaque stops them from working. Think it was ultra sonic? No I don't have a
pacemaker
so he went ahead and did the clean. However I do have ParoxAfb and have been feeling a bit light headed since I got home.

Heart scare
I had a my second
pacemaker
fitted a year ago. I'm feeling tired most days and I'm getting pressure down my arms and burning in my chest on exertion. I had a heart scan with contrast that came back normal. No blockage. So why the symptoms. Anyone else get this. I'm going to see my GP next week.

Dual chamber pacemaker and HF
Hi, had a dual chamber
pacemaker
fitted back in July 2022 following AV node ablation. Now have HF, told by HF nurse possible cause may be due to the pacing of the R/H chambers causing strain to the L/H as it needs work harder Had symptoms of HF since being paced, HF just confirmed in the last week through

ILR implantation recovery
I was told about this procedure and the
pacemaker
one at the same time, now I can't remember which one means being unable to raise your arm for a time. Is this the case with the ILR?

Thyroid and Cholesterol connection
I have a
pacemaker
for a low heart rate, A/F sensitive to cold, nervy jumpy legs and on/off brain fog. I know there is a relationship between high cholesterol and Thyroid problems and would feel happier if I could discuss this with GP and ask for more comprehensive tests.

Flutters and burping
after my
pacemaker
fitted I am feeling flutters by the bottom lead followed by burping, I’ve been back to the
pacemaker
clinic and they’ve said the
pacemaker
is fine… but the flutters are still happening and constantly burping. Anyone else have this issue.
