Ictal Asystole and epilepsy

Hi everyone, it’s good to be here.

I’m looking for any input from anyone who might also have something called Ictal Asystole (my seizures are causing my brain to stop)

I’ve just been given this news and am navigating my way through the system, feeling pretty alone in it all.

Two questions from me I guess:

1) Do you have ictal asystole and are you happy to share a bit more about your journey?

2) For anyone in the UK who has decided to go private, are you happy to share approx costs for a defib pacemaker?

My heart stopped for 24 seconds on the seizure they monitored, so I’m anxious and my whole world is changing. Just trying to look for some answers and a way forward.
