Is an ablation for Persistent AF right for me?
The number rises to 84% with AV node ablation and a
pacemaker
fitted. The clerk I spoke gave no details of the type of ablation they intended to carry out and didn't mention a
pacemaker
, which is not something I know anything about.

How do I stop Afib just after OHS
I also have a
pacemaker
and it was set low on 60+ since May 21. Had no probs. During this surgery they raised the PM rate to 75+ After this surgery I’ve been in Afib! Various doctors visiting my bed kept saying that I’ve always been in Afib but it was underlying the PM!

Mr. Spouse 21 is on rewind: Stable again!
He got his fourth
pacemaker
in January this year (planned not emergency), so the port had to come out. It's not all a walk in the park since Lupron + Xgeva are both fatiguing and draining.

Bradycardia
Within I had a
pacemaker
installed. I now feel do much better. I was told that my condition was missed due to my fitness and that a slow heartbeat was not considered a risk. Apparently the sinus node was failing.

Angina symptoms
Two stents, bypass, ablation for AFib,
pacemaker
, but ongoing angina symptoms due to arterial disease that consultants are not wanting to address initially through surgery (another stent/bubble) due to risk of compromising the bypass.

My partner had a
pacemaker
fitted when we were on holiday in Spain but they never gave him a card. We are now going to travel again and may need a card of some kind at the airport, not sure what to do.

LBBB and mild impaired LV function.
Does this mean I will always at some point need a
pacemaker
? I've not been brought up with healthy food, never really do exercise, used to drink often, this is a wake up call now!

MRI scan with compatible pacemaker, CRT-D or ICD
I have a CRT-D device implanted which is MRI compatible. It looks like I might now need an MRI scan of my head - most likely under private health care. Does anyone know what extra arrangements, if any, are needed to have an MRI scan with an implanted heart device (one that is compatible with MRI scanners

depressed/anxious/medical issues= I don't want to live anymore. My last attempt to connect with others.
I have a bone marrow condition, celiac disease,
pacemaker
, arfid, severe panic disorder, agoraphobia and depression. I am in pain everyday due to my autoimmune stuff and fibromyalgia. I get sick if I eat much and have a narrow range of foods I eat.

Update on "thumping"
Update as promised on the recent "thumping" as my CRT
pacemaker
kicks in. Went to my appointment at the
pacemaker
clinic on Monday and explained that I was getting this quite drastic "thumping" on my left side as the
pacemaker
kicked in. This after 5 years with no problem.

How to go through airport security with a pacemaker/ICD?
They prefer you to show your
pacemaker
card and use the hand-held security wand. However if the wand is held over your peacemaking for too long, the wand could temporary affect your
pacemaker
. Do we have the right to opt for the hand-pat search?

GOING FORWARD
This
pacemaker
even picks up when I am doing something more active such as walking or exercising and it will readjust itself. I am not going to try another ablation I’m tired of wasting time.
