Hello
I am a 54yo Brit living in Spain I have a
pacemaker
and at the check up last month was told I also have an irregular heart beat and blood lots. The
pacemaker
was done in 2011, in the UK, due to heart block and replaced in 2019 here in Spain.

Second opinion
Hi, I asked for a second opinion with another cardiologist following ongoing symptoms since my ablation carried out a year ago which ended up with me having a
pacemaker
fitted due to AV node ablation.

Bradycardia and low O2 level
I’m expecting to have a
pacemaker
fitted in a few weeks. However my Apple Watch has for the past few weeks alerted me to low oxygen level of 84 percent coinciding with low resting pulse. Has anyone experienced these symptoms?

Bad side effects, and now with a
pacemaker
, it's just not possible. If I had it my way, we'd move to a smaller apartment where the property maintenance is done by the owners. But I looked this past week, and the cheapest 2BR are $500 more than we pay here!

Pacemaker self test ?
Yesterday I was having a daytime nap (I was tired out as my dog decided at 3am that she wanted to go out then I couldn’t get back to sleep for ages ) anyway I was woken up when I felt a thumping in my chest and I think it was my
pacemaker
running a self test as it felt the same as when I know my pm is

Question for anyone who has a pacemaker
I’ve had my
pacemaker
since November 2020 so it’s well settled in , just wanted to ask others with pacemakers if when you have a cold drink if it causes you to feel your pm pacing ?

Living with a pacemaker after AV Node Ablation
I'm wondering about what others might be or have experienced with being fully on a
pacemaker
after AV Node Ablation.

anyone heard of long p wave
had my
pacemaker
in on Friday. Still in hospital with New med trial is bisoprolol, flecainide, amlodipine, xarelto. They say the flecainide is causing long p wave- I was taken off of flecainide in 2019 , but I thought it was for long qt wave.

It’s been with me now for several years and still is, despite two ablations, a
pacemaker
and drug regime. I’m facing up to the challenge of embracing it rather than getting rid of it! Recent episode lasted 5 days and just before a family holiday to Croatia. Wondering whether to go.

TantaAnna update post sixth ablation
Going to have a
pacemaker
implanted this Friday! My journey continues, seeking QOL to improve, not good for over four months. Had six ablation (for atrial tachycardia) with six spots ablated by Texas Dr. I still have fluctuations in heart rate changing minute to minute almost., sitting still.

Can My Pacemaker Stop an AF Episode?
I've had my
pacemaker
for six years, to prevent low heart beat caused by the high bb dose I'm on. It's checked at the PM clinic every year. I went there yesterday. I've been having a lot of AF and have been referred back to Cardio.

Pain after pacemaker
I contacted the
pacemaker
team and the physiotherapist said that the
pacemaker
was adjusted to help my heart when under pressure. however, she was able to adjust this and let my heart do its own thing which is a lot better. however, since then I have now had problems with being able to lay down in bed

Specialty to start with?
I can't have an MRI due to
pacemaker
. I saw TA's comment the other day about having a CT-scan/bone scan before a biopsy and it got me to thinking that maybe I should have started off with a RO from the very beginning.

Unexpected reason for gp appointment
happened after having a
pacemaker
, basically I woke up in the early hours with heart attack symptoms , I’d had a lead go through my heart wall , I needed both leads replaced just a week after having my
pacemaker
then that led to a severe heart infection that had got to a life threatening stage and

pacemaker and electric heat pads
I have a Medtronic
