I have failed gabapentin, tramadol,
Oxycontin
and pregabalin and had literally reached the end of the road. The
Oxycontin
and pregabalin just didn't stop the RLS and at my last appointment with Prof. Chaudhuri my RLS severity score was 36/40. Life was literally becoming unbearable.

Well...on the Day After my first Chemo with Cabazitaxel...1/2 dosage every 3 weeks. I felt GREAT yesterday after it...
I did ask my oncologist for
oxycontin
and she said sure....but you're not going to take an over dose and kill yourself she asked? I said no. She gave me 60 for a 30 day supply. I've been taking about one a week just for "fun"...I will say they make me feel GREAT.

Preparation for Treatment Decisions 90 Days after Immunotherapy Stopped.
The week before last, I exercised moderately a few times, stopped the Dexamethasone, and then tried to cut down the
Oxycontin
ER last Thursday with the intention to stop. I experienced a good deal of pain in my back last Thursday night, and it took a few days to get it back under control.

Ongoing updates--back pain, MRI, and AMG 509
I don’t understand the comment since I am ambulatory, and the pain meds have been helping since I began a program with
Oxycontin
10mg ER every 8 hours and Oxycodone 5mg IR every 4 hours as needed. (I took an extra oxycodone at 2 hours while getting the MRI yesterday.)

transdermal fentanyl vs methadone
He's been on
oxycontin
and oxycodone along with gabapentin. We are in at home hospice since we decided not to do Radium 223. After reading about it, his tumors were most likely too large to be effective and in the end, the side effects wouldn't work with my husband's personality.

Hello. New to the forum but not to OA. Thought I’d say hello and add my story.
My last 2015 knee I got hooked on the
OxyContin
for 2 years and put myself through a Suboxone clinic rehab in 2017. Will not take any more narcotics unless I am terminal. Now I am 54 and unable to stand over 15 minutes or walk a block.

Pregabalin and opioid issues?
I just took one 15 mg
Oxycontin
ER which I hope helps but may not be strong enough. I have Tramadol HCL 100 mg tabs, Oxycodone HCL 5 mg tablets that didn't help my PLMD but may help with pain, I pray. Are they contraindicated with the Pregabalin? Thank you.

Not having much luck
following my journey know my Radium 223 basically did nothing and my PSA went up to 300, in Oct my Oncologist tried Zytiga combined with Prednisolon, within a couple of weeks my PSA dropped right down to 88 and I even had an improvement in pain levels, which allowed me to drop the large quantities of

Do I have any rights/control over 'Opiates' being reduced please?
Hello, I live in Scotland and am having a terrible time of it with my GP/Pain Consultant with regard to them enforcing me to reduce the only medication that eases my pain -
Oxycontin
. My Pain Consultant even had the cheek to ask me "Do you WANT to be on opiates for the rest of your life?"

Folate levels
Those who know my story will know I believe my extremely high dose of
OxyContin
for many years caused my PA amongst many other problems. One of those many other problems was zero testosterone levels, of which I had HRT but stopped it due to it thickening my blood & causing severe acne.

18 years with metastatic prostate cancer – operation number three, but no good news for me – the end game begins.
COVID-19 restrictions meant I couldn’t have any visitors at the hospital, so I spent the next ten days in a haze of opioid “bliss” watching movies/programmes that I now have no recollection of – followed by eight weeks at home trying to ween myself of the

My father has extreme pain in his legs
He is taking
OxyContin
10 mg 2x a day and oxycodine 5mg in between no more than 3 a day he is allowed. He said the only thing that helps is Aleeve but dr told him to stop taking it. I also have the RSO/CBD oil that he tried last night. He reports that it made him dizzy but didn’t do anything.

Why is everyone judging me for taking Oxycontin to manage my RLS?
question.I started having moderate RLS sophomore year of college which was 3 years ago.I started taking pramipexole and i knew that it was a ticking bomb but thought that i will take the risk 8 deal with the consequences later.Right at the end of my college education I suffered augmentation and was put on

Living with Chronic Neuropathic Pain
My new Doctor took me off the
Oxycontin
and stared me on Tramadol, a much softer and more effective pain medication than
Oxycontin
. I now take 200mg long acting Tramadol, 150mg Lyrica, 100 Aspirin and 500 Hydrea (oral chemo).

Other causes of RLS
They're not as violent as before because l take
oxycontin
every 12 hrs and oxycodone for breakthrough pain. Since this is a lower dose l have to save and "budget" the pills in case l would have the worst episode.
