This week I received an Email from Professor David Nutt also from our Manerva ;] Buprenorphine in the form of TEMGESIC 200mcg is available from your GP also I suspect Norspan patches which is buprenorphine dosing starting at 5mg. Buprenorphine is a very superior drug it hangs onto very few receptors

Why am I so tired all the time?
I have a nerve sheath tumour behind my left eye. No diagnosis but the tumour had a bleed and a grow so they put me on a load of meds. Now I sleep half the day away. Can anyone help? I eat healthy , am sleeping 10 hours a night like the dead. But I am still tired. Meds are Oxycodone, Duloxetine and Propranalol

Florida Physician
I live in New Jersey /USA and have a neurologist who has been prescribing Oxycodone which has been very effective. However, I’m planning on spending more time near West Palm Beach Florida. Can anyone recommend a physician who is knowledgeable about RLS in that area or even near Miami?

RLS, tramadol and the opiate epidemic.

Quick, Happy Update
Just wanted to give a quick update that I'm finally starting to see signs of recovery after months of chemo and radiation. I'm more active and taking much less pain medicine. In fact, my recent migraines were probably caused by coming off oxycodone too quickly. Now tapering more gradually and feeling

Can someone help advise me on accessing Oxycodone in this country
I'm a UK citizen and I lived abroad for a few years. Unfortunately I had an accident while on my moped. I came off and shattered my wrist as well and done my back in. They put me on oxycodone 30mg twice daily and they gave me a quality of life but once I returned here I feel like I'm having to jump through

Nightwalkers Magazine from the RLS Foundation and opiates
There was a great article from the latest issue of Nightwalkers which is the quarterly journal from the Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation. They were describing some of the studies on opiates and RLS. There was lots of information on the ramifications of using opiates like oxycodone and methadone for

Query re Oxycodone new guidlines re pain- restless legs and Amytriptaline experiences.
Good afternoon fellow RL sufferers. Spoke with my GP yesterday who mentioned the new guidlines re Oxycodone and pain. ie that it's not found to be effective long term and I might have this slightly wrong but they are suggesting that Oxy is not always to be the go to option for pain scripts in the future
