Colonoscopy and nauseous
I take oxycodone and mirapax for rls. Last week I was supposed to have a colonoscopy. I took the above meds and got nauseous and threw up. I had to cancel the colonoscopy. I have another colonoscopy scheduled next week. I need to take my meds or I will have bad rls. What can I do to not get nauseous

Has anyone tried oxymorphone?
Hi, has anyone here tried oxymorphone for RLS? oxymorphone is similar to oxycodone but with much less sleeping difficulties in comparison with oxycodone. I have been doing extensive research for an opioid which exerts less sleeping difficulties because the oxycodone I am taking gives me severe insomnia

Help for the reason of insomnia
I need help again. Hi, fellow sufferers, I am suffering from frequent anxiety attacks and unable to sleep even for a few minutes these days. As I have posted last time with the same issue. my intense anxiety is due to not knowing if my insomnia is from oxycodone 5 mg I have been taking or from anxiety

Horizant for RLS
Does anyone here have experience of taking Horizant for RLS? After taking oxycodone 5 mg for many years, I have developed serious insomnia, therefore I'd like to switch to non-opioid to relieve my RLS symptoms. I'd like to know if anyone here have tried Horizant and if it is effective to relieve RLS

oxycodone-induced insomnia
Has anyone experienced oxycodone-induced insomnia and anxiety. I have been taking oxycodone 5 mg since 2016 with no side effects but right now 5 years later, I all of sudden developed terrible insomnia with only 3 to 4 hours sleep and daytime anxiety. I have been taking pregabalin 300 mg very night

Oxycodone.. it works for my husband
Hi friends I felt like I needed to update. I was vehemently against the use of any opioids because at one time my husband was trying to self medicate which didn’t work well. He’s literally tried everything. He met a doctor who is helping him tremendously. He’s using 10 mg a night for the last 4 months

Hello all. Being disabled with many things wrong with me I've also suffered with RLS all my life. I'm 51 now. A few months ago it started to get really bad to the point of sleeping 1 to 2 hours sleep a night. I have tried many things over the years but not from the doctor. I finally spoke to him about

Orchiectomy
Been very busy with my new house so I'm just getting around to reporting on my orchiectomy. Bottom line: no more Lupron. Ever. Testosterone now <5. Hot flashes short and mild. Cold flashes not a problem. Procedure was straightforward and done at Strong Hospital here in Rochester, NY. I do wish

Panic Attacks and Intense Anxiety after weaning off Ropinirole
Did any one out there find that they had severe anxiety or panic attacks immediately after weaning off Ropinirole? I was so proud to finally be off of that medication and 3 days later I am having horrible panic attacks. I had a few episodes of anxiety a few years ago but have managed without medications

I was participating in a site like this years ago and did find it beneficial. I am new to this one and looking forward to hearing your thoughts, remedies, advice and any other info you have on RLS. I was diagnosed with RLS 20 years ago. I, as well as, my wife, have had many sleepless nights. I used

Anyone using Oxycodone?
I've had severe RLS for years, but I also have Ankylosing Spondylitis so I'm on Tremadol for the pain (can't take anti inflammatories due to stomach problems) the doctors have tried me on lyrica, amitriptyline and ropinirole most recently. I've only been on it for maybe a month but I think I've already

Change in plans - looks like neuroendocrine
From my last post, I had an allergic reaction 15 minutes into my first dose of Docetaxel - part of a clinical trial combining Docetaxel and Xofigo (Radium-223). Two weeks later, I had a second reaction despite additional precautions (oral decadron 3 days prior, IV Benadryl and Decadron immediately prior

A non-blog update
Sadly, I haven't been well enough to write a proper blog post that's up to my standards, but am functioning well enough to give a quick update. It's been a 1,013 days since my original prostate cancer diagnosis, so I missed the magic milestone of 1,000 days to do something special. It's also been about

Hello everyone. I have posted not too long ago so I suppose this could be called a follow up. RL S I have sent her a very graphic letter on all that I go through

Ongoing updates--back pain, MRI, and AMG 509
I had MRIs done on the Lumbar, Thoracic, and Cervical spine. I ended up doing it at Jefferson Methodist Hospital. It took close to 4 hours and was an ordeal, but I managed to stay still and get very good images. The technician said he has never had anyone get through that long without moving or quitting

Morning everybody. I am looking for a quality CBD oil Any experiences please 😊
I am soon to be starting Temgesic for my restless limbs. Can anyone recommend a good quality CBD oil to help with any restlessness I may experience crossing over from my current Oxycodone med? I recognise that I may not need it, but just in case. Also the pain doctor recommended that I occasionally
