Oxycodone / Naloxone

I could go back to oxycodone/naloxone (Targinact) which gave me nausea but less severe and the RLS barrier was "weaker" i hope someone can help please Kind regards Davchar

hi folks I finally managed to see neurologist here in Scotland and he has prescribed Oxycodone/Naloxone 5mg/2.5mg, he has also given me Ferrous Fumarate 2 x 210mg. I am currently on 900mg Gabapentin, he has advised not to reduce dosage until I know if Oxy is working.

G.P said he’s only prepared to prescribe 10 mg Oxycodone and he can’t prescribe Naloxone as it not allowed on their prescribing list. The 10’s help a tiny bit, I’m going to contact Neurologist on Monday but should I take 15mg tonight and see if that helps? I just want some sleep 😴 Thanks 🤩

It was clear that as opioids are not on the formulary of the NHS hospital where she works, she could not prescribe them - nor would she want to - But she agreed to ask my GP to prescribe Oxycodone-naloxone ( Targinact).
