Oxycodone - the way forward or a dead end?
It was clear that as opioids are not on the formulary of the NHS hospital where she works, she could not prescribe them - nor would she want to - But she agreed to ask my GP to prescribe

Starting pregabalin
It also states on letter that if Pregabalin isn’t effective other options would be clonazepam ( as a side note she states that this can cause sedation and can be associated with augmentation), or
oxycodone
with
naloxone
combination. I know nothing about the alternative medicines she suggests?

Targin and nausea
I have been taking Targin (
Oxycodone
plus
Naloxone
) for about a year. I have experienced nausea for much of the time but not when I first started taking it. I take a low dose of either 5 or 10 mg Oxycodine (combined with 5 or 2.5 mg Naloxone) each night.

Suboxone works!
As I stated in my first post, in May, 2023, I have had severe RLS for many years. I suffered augmentation after taking 4 mg Mirapex daily. In September, 2023, my sleep study doctor, at The University of Michigan, prescribed Suboxone. Also known as Buprenorphine and Naloxone 2 mg/0.5 mg. It is a sublingual

heart palpitation from suboxome
Lately due to frequent cold I have to increase Buprenorphine and Naloxone to 1.5 mg sublingually (3 quarters of film (2 mg), then I have experienced horrendous heart palpitation and my heart rate goes down to 42 to 44 /minute. Even when I return to my previous dosage which is 1 mg (half film) sublingually

How to handle going off mirapex
My neurologist decided to take me off mirapex. This is a new neurologist since mine retired. She specializes in sleep problems. I also have sleep apnea. I dont know why she decided to take me off mirapex. When she told me I was in a state of shock. I also take oxycodone. She is taking me off

Looking like spring but a little cool.
Good Morning everyone hope you are having a good day 👍🏼 My buddy with the pain stimulator is doing great, no pain in back or legs just incision site but it’s manageable with oxycodone. The blood blister on the bottom of my foot 🦶 burst last night when I got up to use bathroom, ouch 😣. It’s feeling

Inflammation
I was hesitant to post this, thinking that this was a minor idiosyncrasy only specific to my situation. But I just saw a query about Bactrim, which made me think that it might be worthwhile to share this info. This is also in relation to the recent postings on whether or not inflammations can cause

Chronic Discomfort
Hello, please see my profile for background info on my dad. I was just curious if it is expected with my dad's condition for him to be in what seems like chronic discomfort in his prostate region. It does "come and go" as he says but seems like lately more often than not he is "uncomfortable" as he

Any last advice before I embark on the battle to try Buprenorphine? Should I increase my pregabalin dose?
I'd be really grateful for any thoughts on remaining treatment options before I start waging war with my GP practice to try Buprenorphine. I took my last ropinirole tablet in May 2023 (after augmentation after 11 years), and have since been taking 300mg pregabalin (150mg at 8pm, 150mg at 10.30pm), together
