I've been quiet- I have nothing to say
I got caught up in shopping online starting on Black Friday. I was consumed in shopping so I could push down the lump of depression. Alone and depressed on the holidays again. I didn't have money to spend and it actually made the depression worse. I have been returning what I can. The night after

REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS ON INHALERS
Just a quick question. I have two inhalers, having been switched to the MART regime. First I was told I couldn't have 3 of my combination inhaler Fostair 100/6. However when the nurse asked for it I was able to have 3 at once. The reason for a possible refusal was that if they give you one inhaler then

Taking Symbicort and AF
Today my GP has prescribed me a new inhaler (I have COPD) Symbicort. I already use Salamol but it is not very effective. I have permanent AF and I am on 5mg Nebivolol, 180mg of Diltiazem, 5mg Ramipril and Rivaroxaban. I know that some inhalers cause side effects with AF drugs, is anyone using this

hi all, I’m new to this forum and new to my illness which I haven’t really been informed of in much detail. I had a collapsed lung in September last year and they did a cat scan 3 weeks later. Broncholidator Reversibility Test
Hi, I posted a few days ago about my team wanting to do a broncholidator reversibility test and FeNO before they put me forward for biologics. I wasn't going to do the test, then decided to do it, incase it did show reversibility to save time waiting for a referral to Wynthenshawe as my current hospital

Swollen lymph nodes in neck
Hello everyone. This feels like a bit of a random question. I am taking Fostair 200/6 and have developed swollen and tender lymph nodes on the left side of my neck. I have no other symptoms of any infection. Could this be linked to the steroid inhaler? I haven’t contacted the doctor yet as I was waiting

Lung crackling
Hi, I started noticing crackling when breathing a few months ago. I've been to the doctors, she gave me antibiotics which did nothing. She sent me for an xray which came back satisfactory and now I'm on an inhaler, which is also doing nothing. When she listened to my chest she couldn't hear anything

Fostair - lactose-free?
I just had a telephone consult with my respiratory consultant. As the steroid in my Seretide inhaler is thought likely to be the cause of my recently diagnosed adrenal insufficiency, he proposes to switch me from Seretide to Fostair as the steroid in that is less potent. I am seeing conflicting information

Dosages
I have just been moved to 640 of alvesco and 800 of fostair 100 a day by my consultant. What are the rules on dosages when combining different inhalers, can you just have the maximum dosage of each inhaler.
