I have been told that orencia injection is in shortage and that they are changing me to infusion which has to be given by a nurse I am due to get this done today and no one has been in contact to arrange this I have tried contacting anyone I can think of to get this done but no joy.

I've been on leflunamide for about 6 and a half years and have fairly recently added in Orencia as the leflunamide wasn't controlling my RA. I wondered if anyone else takes both of these together? Thanks

My rheumatologist suggested going back on Orencia for my RA. I would now be more thoughtful about trying Ocrevus and returning to my Orencia, after all the issues you guys have had with Ocrevus. The things we go through on our journeys with our diseases we live with.

I have had RA for over 13 years now and and on orencia and salazoprin atm I am have to take supplements for low potassium have never had this before and wondering if this is common and should I be worried

Woke up this morning feeling like I had been in a fight...feeling pain all over....whhhyyyyyy 😢I hope the orencia infusion makes a difference as I really don't know how much more I can take. Sorry to rant but having had a taste of no pain, just feeling disappointed 😞

I am wondering if anyone can give me any advice about taking Orencia and stopping it to move to another drug and then returning to Orencia again if the alternative fails?

She did say Orencia was working, but if I couldn't tolerate taking them...it's up to me if I chose not to. I was on Rinvoq a couple months previously, had sie effects, so had to stop it. Then it was suggested I try Orencia. I'm still not sure about Orencia, even tho I'm on it.

I am on an Abatacept Orencia injection and I was just looking for some advice. Due to the injection being weekly I will have around 20/24 pens to dispose of.

I was due to start Orencia after the op. I was wondering if anyone on here has experience of taking biologic meds whilst having an artificial heart valve (doesn’t have to be an aortic one!), and can reassure me?

Could it be Orencia causing this I am being seen by Eye specialist for Type 2 Mac Tel and yesterday he told me the Mac Tel is stable and I should not have these problems. He is sending to EYE Hospital for second opinion. Does anyone have these symptoms?

hello, I’m about to start abatacept (Orencia) and would like to know if anyone here uses abatacept in a prefilled pen. My gp seems to think it only comes as an infusion or as a prefilled syringe but I’m sure I have seen it referred to on fb as a pen.

My new doctor is ready to get approval for Orencia. She said the Enbrel and humira and remicade could push me into lupus. She said the sjorgrens is a sister to lupus and she’s trying to keep me from going down that path, hence the Orencia.

Hi, I am new to this forum and would be grateful if anyone could advise on how long it took biologic Orencia to work. I have been on weekly injections of Orencia now for 6 weeks but not noticing any major improvement with my pain and swelling?

I am on Biologics -ORENCIA for five years During the pandemic I had a bad fall and injured my knee . Couldn’t get much Physiotherapy because of the lockdowns so I did what I could on my own . since then I am having a problem with the right leg functioning properly.

I have got a chest infection and am taking antibiotics, I hate to have to miss my Orencia injection (due today), should I still take it or wait for the infection to go? Thanks

So Iam hoping Orencia will do the trick for. The Jaks have a black box warning in Canada and they won,t allow over 65 to take it due to higher level of bc, heart attacks, lung cancer , blood clots. So I am 63 so concerned about that. Has anyone been on Orencia and how was it.
