Scared…
hi all. hoping for some words of encouragement / reassurance. I am a 31 y/o female, fairly clean medical history - diagnosed polycystic ovarian syndrome. Slightly overweight (working on it - 2.5 stone down and counting). Lifestyle normally active, don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t use recreational substances

positive bhcg worried about progesterone
hi! I tested positive since 5dp5dt so I take a Beta hcg test on 8dp5dt and it result on 148. I’m really happy with that but I tested also my progesterone who resulted in 34.2 nmol/l is it ok? I’m tacking two duphaston pills per day and 3 progeffik… I asked also my center but they actually didn’t told

how many days after hcg trigger was your FET?
hi everyone, will be trying a natural modified FET for the first time next month. Just wondering how the process works. i understand from my doctor that dominant follicle size and lining will be monitored. Once follicle size is good, then trigger shot will be given. Does it matter if the trigger shot

Aortic Valve Replacement Monitoring
I had a surgical aortic valve replacement (tissue valve) in June and I have been lucky enough to have an uneventful recovery. I opted for private surgery because long waits and lack of communication from the NHS was causing me such stress and anxiety and recently retired I had savings I could use.

what is right?
Having had chest pains and breathlessness for a number of years and told it was asthma, despite pumps not working, and originally being told it was angina GTN spray did nothing. Also being told through the years that ECG showed something but still no diagnosis, trips back and forth to A&E. Then four

anxious about CAD - MRI result
Hi all, Does anyone know if a cardiac MRI would pick up coronary heart disease , or at least see some part of the arteries? I’m awaiting a CT scan with dye to look into CAD, but my consultant thinks it’s unlikely as I’m 32 , I am overweight and an ex-smoker so I do have some risk factors. My cardiac

Which test to use 🤔?
Hi all, So today is our test day. We did test early the other day and had a BFN. Today we tested first thing this morning and got a BFP with a clear and simple digital test (the results show as += BFP, and a - = a BFN). Taken another test a little later on with a clear blue test that tells you how many

Strange interaction with Private Health System..?
I had an ecg which my gp flagged up as indicating some problem with my heart. They even sent a paramedic to my home to check I was ok. I feel ok, sometimes a but breathless, occasionally dizzy, but better now I am taking statins and aspirin.Anyway, I made an appt with NHS cardiology. Earliest was next

Gonasi dual trigger wait times, I’m confused!
hello everyone! I’d really love your expertise if I may ask for your help. I had one follicle present 20mm and my Dr gave me gonasi 6000iu on Tuesday 19th March to trigger ovulation and for us to have a go at conceiving naturally. I took Ovitrelle 250mg on Saturday 23rd. Ovulation was confirmed and

Introducing myself
Hi, I'm new to the forum and thought I'd share a brief summary of how I ended up here. It's hard to say exactly when my symptoms started but in 2019, when I was 62, I found myself so persistently lacking in energy that I decided I should mention it to a doctor. The first doctor I saw did some blood

Do GP’s or Consultants in the UK accept Kardia readings?
Debating on ordering a kardia device to capture a fluttering palpitation feeling rather than waiting another 7 months for an ecg.I wondered if in the UK our GPs or consultants accept the readings…

Omron PM monitor detecting irregular heartbeat and Afib
I've recently discovered the I have grade 1 hypertension and I am waiting a few months to see if lifestyle changes helps lower it. I bought myself an Omron M7 Intelli IT bp monitor and it regularly detects that I have an irregular heart beat. I decided to try the Afib mode and it detected that I may

Query Heart Attack
So I had some serious palpitations back in January, which took me into hospital, no signs of heart attack except slightly elevated blood clotting, so went on thinners for 4 days(only!) Took myself to gp lots of tests and a 24hr ecg and months later being told its just down to low iron and nothing serious

6weeks +6days pregnant-no symptoms
hi everyone, had my hcg tests result 2.5 weeks ago, BFP with a count just over 300. (FET 5 day embryo) I didn’t really have any symptoms in the 2 week wait except some cramping. I wouldn’t say I have any notable symptoms since my BFP either..bit of an achy back, bit of cramping, bit of a bleed
