Joy at the chemist
Hi Ladies, the sense of satisfaction, relief and hope I felt the other day on entering the chemist was immense. There I was holding my golden ticket,"A prescription for
Olaparib
".What a joy to know it can now be got through prescription at your local chemist and if you have medical card it costs €2.50

I will be going to provenge and
olaparib
in the next few weeks and hopefully not get any more spots on my spine. I have had Cyberknife radiation treatment for past spots.

Olaparib query
I'm worried that maybe cancer is there but is growing slowly because of
olaparib
. Now with the much smaller dose of
olaparib
cancer can start to grow faster. I am worried that
olaparib
maybe stops working for me.

Testing for BRCA Mutations.
He led on the first-in-man studies of
olaparib
that first demonstrated antitumour activity for PARP inhibitors in BRCA carrier patients. Professor de Bono has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed articles and several book chapters." Interesting discussion.

Disappointed and sad
He said if Rubraca is approved for maintenance by then, he will consider that one too but for now he thinks
Olaparib
. I knew it was a long shot but it has worked on others.

Olaparib still working
Latest scan results today, 3 years 9 months on
Olaparib

Olaparib & Durvalumab ... ASCO 2017
Based on data so far, the combination or durvalumab and
olaparib
appears to be well tolerated. Early oncologic outcomes appear promising.

LOC Appointment
I tested negative for the genetic test but a small percentage of people have a 'somatic mutation' in the tumour itself which qualifies them for
Olaparib
therapy after second line chemo. I think the testing costs about £400, apparently if you are insured they will generally cover the cost.

GPS Don't Really Want to Help
Having been a cancer patient for 10 years now and taking a trial drug
Olaparib
I occasionally have the need for a prescription of antisickness. I haven't had this from my GP for a year but now they won't prescribe it on repeat because I haven't had it for a year......

Lynparza (olaparib), a PARP inhibitor, before CRPC.
Some hype over a new study [1]: "Our data suggest that ADT can functionally impair HR {defects} prior to the development of castration resistance and that, this potentially could be exploited therapeutically using PARP inhibitors in combination with androgen-deprivation therapy upfront in advanced or

Olaparib or other new drugs in trial
A friend wants to try a Parp drug like
Olaparib
but can't get in a trial. Is there a way to get this drug? How do you contact the drug company directly and what do you say. She has tried several chemos and not having much success. Thank you
