Ofev

We are willing to try anything Ofev and prednisone are seeming to make his condition worse.

Dear SSc folks, are you suffering from significant Diarrhea resulting from taking Ofev (Nintedanib) ? If so, how do get this under control ? Thank you :-)

I’m currently on OFEV medication for Rheumatoid ILD and wondered if there was anyone else out there also on this medication that could share their experience / give me advice.

I have RA and rheumatoid ILD. I started taking nintedanib in July last year, I had a medication review in January and I explained all the side effects I was experiencing. The doctor suggested that due to my slight frame (lost loads of weight), I do a month’s trial of only 1 x 150mg tab every evening.

I am controlling my IPF with a experimental drug called OFEV. I have been an experiment with medical pulmonary research which I am responding to well.. But losing muscle mass will weaken my ability to cough up flem.. Tough spot here..

Or find that OFEV effects diabetic blood sugar

Just FYI—I take Mycophenolate and Ofev, which are heavy duty meds already with possible serious side effects. Thanks.

Ofev appears to increase the possibility of bleeding and bruising which causes some concerns. At the moment Esbriet seems to be the least of the evils, but I wondered if anyone else has any useful insights on these drugs.

Does anyone have Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and taking anti-fibrotic drugs such as Ofev or Esbriet AND also have PCa and taking Orgovyx? I would like to know firsthand experience of such combination of drugs. Thanks in Advance

My doctor has recommended the medicine Ofev for my scarred lungs. Has anyone had experience with this? If so, did it make a difference?

I was prescribed Ofev for my lungs. I would like to know if anyone else is taking this medicine and if you noticed a difference?

My consultant is thinking of prescribing Ofev for my IPF I heard the side effects can be awful! Any info would be appreciated 🥴🥴🥴

I don't have much information on this but have been put onto new medication after being taken off of mycophenalate as it had stopped working and put onto Ofev. Have been told that it won't stop further damage to my lungs, just slow it down. Trouble is, the breathlessness and fatigue are not good.

How ae people coping with taking Ofev for Idiopathic Pulonary Fibrosis

Nintedanib (Ofev) treatment significantly slowed disease progression versus placebo in a phase III trial involving patients with fibrosing interstitial lung diseases (ILD) other than idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), researchers reported.

I am waiting to be approved for the drug Ofev soon hopefully.

Any body out there still alive more than 5 years after Diagnosis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis who has been taken nintedanib (OFEV) I would be interested in their opinion of the drug,

Any comments from Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis sufferers particularly the the drug nintedanib (Ofev). Also about oxygen bags or other containers that can be recharged at home from my consentrater? I am 76 and about 5 years since first diagnosed ,
