Does anyone have Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and taking anti-fibrotic drugs such as Ofev or Esbriet AND also have PCa and taking Orgovyx?
I would like to know firsthand experience of such combination of drugs.
Thanks in Advance

I can sort of help a little bit, maybe - I have IPF (early stage, diagnosed in 2019) and have been on OFEV for about a year... the IPF was picked up on a CT reference scan for a a PSMA PET, performed just before eSRT after BCR in mid 2018, following RRP in late 2017.
I am also Decipher hi (0.91 - congrats, you're the first person I've come across with a higher Decipher score!!)
And while I haven't been on Orgovyx, I figured I'd reply because I reckon you aren't going to find many PCa guys with IPF... the most relevant experience I can offer is that I had some breathing problems when I was on Zytiga for 8 months during/after eSRT. My haemoglobin went from ca, 170 down to 145 as a result of the Zytiga and I had a few uncomfortable episodes where I really thought I was in trouble. This was one of the factors that convinced me to drop the Zytiga and just rely on Goserelin for the remaining 4 months of the ADT side of my attempted "cure" post-BCR.
I realise I wasn't on Ofev during the breathing issues and that you're primarily concerned about drug interactions - I can't help you there... but in discussions with your MO, you might want to ask about likely impact on your haemoglobin levels - it was all pretty unpleasant!!
Anyway, T has been back to full strength for over 18 months and I remain undetectable as of last week. Plus, with haemoglobin back up in the mid 150s, I have no breathing issues - so there can be at least some periods of blessed relief amongst all the PCa/IPF crap...

Following this post as my father who is 74 has both IPF and advanced prostate cancer. Would be nice to connect with others who are in this same unique situation!
