has anyone been taken off Ofev because of abnormal liver results , I was tolerating it well with none of the effects that some people experience, after being taken off it how long did it take for your liver to come back to acceptable levels ? I know everyone’s different,

I was taken off Ofev due to raised liver levels, it only took a month to come back to normal but I was only on for a month.

I am now on pirfenidone and my liver is ok with it.

Have you been offered the option of pirfenidone ?

I haven’t, maybe they will offer it to me , I went to Brompton’s on Friday , my lung function was good , I’ve lost a bit of weight , tolerating Ofev , so all good get home and they phone me to stop the Ofev and mycophenolate, I’ve been on that for 5 years .. told to have a blood test in 2 weeks , just having pulmonary fibrosis I was so happy being put on Ofev to slow down the progression… anyway we’ll see , thank you so much for your reply

If you levels come down they may try you on a smaller dose of ofev. I was given that option as well.
