Finally good news on desiccated thyroid (my doctor thinks I might be able to get it on NHS)
Just want to share something positive for once: by accident instead of my usual endocrinologist another consultant in the local NHS hospital called me for the update appointment: I was honest about not responding to the last prescription after 6 weeks (my t3 was lower than before starting medication,

A recent visit to a MD in general practice who was interested in administering injections of Testosterone decided to wait and prescribed DHEA and Pregnenolone and MSM instead. His blood test did show these to be low. Also, in this blood test it showed the hormon estrogen to be low. I am not sure I want

Spotting for the last 4 days with no proper period
Hi All! I haven’t posted in here for a long time but I keep track with all the stories. I sometimes feel I’m drowning in my loneliness but posts in here cheer me up somehow. I’m in my late 40s and after 2 failed cycles, my husband and I decided on DE for the first (and last) time. We had our transfer

Cancelled Medicated FET due to cyst producing low levels of progesterone - is it really necessary to cancel?
Hi All, I've just been told by my clinic they want to cancel my programmed FET as at my baseline scan yesterday there was still a small cyst (12mm) on my left ovary and they took progesterone and
oestrogen
bloods to be sure it was ok but its come back as progesterone 3.3 nmols and E2 99.

Verzenio and Letrozole 3rd line
Flunked out of the clinical trial! I begged to stay on, but the protocol is that with a 1.4 x 1.0 cm lymph node on my paratracheal, SUV 7.5, I have progression and have to try something else. Oncologist dismissed going back on Ibrance after holiday, says that works for few people. (She also said I went

Oestrogen dominance and hypothyroid
Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has dealt with
oestrogen
dominance and hypothyroidism. I think some of my issues may be linked to this. I am going to try a supplement called myomin which I’ve been told is good for it- has anyone tried it?

Cannot find an answer to this!
I cannot afford for my
oestrogen
levels to go up so I need to avoid that. I’m 45, so my thinking is if it works ok, by the time I’m done with it, my
oestrogen
levels might have dropped a bit and I can reassess the situation then! Honestly - thyroid replacement, the gift that just keeps giving!

Salmon Protein Hydrolysate
New study below [1]. Anyone here using
Salmon Protein Hydrolysate
? FWIW: "A growing body of evidence implicates iron dysmetabolism in prostate cancer progression. A bioactive peptide-rich salmon protein hydrolysate (SPH) has previously been demonstrated to modulate iron homeostatic mechanisms.

Can you use Utrogestan as contraceptive?
I'm nearly 44 and was diagnosed with early menopause at 41. I was on Femodene for 2 years (from 41-43) but started to have serious side effects so switched to HRT. I am now on Oestrogel pump gel and Utrogestan pill 14 days on/off which gives me a monthly bleed. I feel like a new person on HRT but I'm

Hypodensities < 1 cm, dome of liver
Hello, first time poster on this forum. I had a CT Cardiac Calcium Score test done and it came out fine, but it picked up several hypodensities <1 cm in the dome, probably cysts. I have had some discomfort along my rib cage in that area, only when I lay down on my stomach, that I attributed to soreness

FET lining not thick enough?
Hello, I went for my scan today pre-FET and my lining is still at 6.5cm despite being that 1 week ago and upping the estrogen dose between now and then. I have been on estrogen for 3 weeks now and so they don’t think another week will change anything. The doctor said the structure all looks good and
