Orgovyx + Nubeqa Dosing

I'm starting Orgovyx and staying on Nubeqa. Nubeqa is twice a day and Orgovyx is once. Probably a dumb question, but is it preferable to take the Orgovyx am or pm?

Lacking any official direction in the matter, I take Nubeqa morning and night with food, and Orgovyx at bedtime. My only reason for Orgovyx at night is that I take BP meds and a statin in the morning and I don't want to mix all that.

doesnt Nubeqa [daralutamide] conflict with statins?

Have u experienced any side effects?

Did u have a hard time getting insurance approval for either of these meds?

Darolutamide can increase the blood levels of atorvastatin, but so far I am good.I have not experienced any more side effects from Nubeqa beyond what I already have with Orgovyx. Hot flashes (not too bad), fatigue (significant), weakness, and brain fog. All of those were present before I started Nubeqa.

Medicare approves these drugs, but the copay is very high. I have had 2 grants to help with copay, but those will eventually run out. Without copay assistance there would be a limit to how long I can pay for this stuff.

thanks, did u have to try Elreada [apalutamide] before being approved for Nubeqa [daralutamide]?

I forgot to mention that I did try Erleada for one month. It caused every cold food and drink to taste terrible, so I begged for the change. It took another month for the taste to go away. Erleada was also approved but very expensive.

just read your history; sorry for your loss of your partner, you have been on a rough journey. hope things work well for you. I heard getting approval for nubeqa is very difficult.

My husband takes his Orgovyx in the morning, because he is less likely to ever miss a dose (15 months on it and he has never missed!) and because there is less variability in time, as bedtime can become somewhat variable. Whatever works best for you to maintain 100% compliance is the right time!
