Chemo head rash (or maybe NUBEQA)
Rash is a 1% occurrence of
NUBEQA
, which I started two days before docetaxel, but I’m leaning towards chemo as the cause. Also osting here to warn others who haven’t started chemo that this is a possible side effect

Further treatment - Update
I started Xtandi in April 2019 and switched to
Nubeqa
December 2021. The PSA started to rise in fall 2021 after being steady at 0.1/0.2 for a long time. It seems now the cancer is castration resistant. I had my last PET scan in May without any findings.

My brother has advanced prostate cancer
After that he had triplet therapy(every 3 month hormone therapy+ Docetaxol+

Cycling and loss of power on ADT
(Over 20 double centuries and the Furnace Creek 508) I’m now taking both
Nubeqa
and Orgovyx and have mostly been riding an eBike, but today went out on my regular road bike.

Started Triplet Therapy this week, new doc, new (better) treatment plan!
New doc’s plan: Docetaxel,
NUBEQA
, Eligard (triplet therapy) with Reclast or Prolia for bone support preferably after a DEXA scan. What an amazing difference CoH was, from the parking lot to the actual doctor.

What first?: Provenge or Nubeqa?
I have
Nubeqa
approved but have not started taking it yet. My question is- Is it more effective to start on the
Nubeqa
before doing Provenge, or should I do Provenge first and then start
Nubeqa
a few months later?

Future treatment
I was switched to
Nubeqa
due to the Xtandi side effects and has been on that ever since. My PSA was in May'22 1,0 and climbed to 2,9 the next 5 months. My last PSMA PET scan was in May'22 without any findings. My oncologist did not want to change anything at this time.

Should my dad continue docetaxel? He seems weakening so much.
Now we are on the 5th docetaxel and since hoping to get less side effect and we swithced to
Nubeqa
. However, that even worse since
Nubeqa
made him totally exhausted and he can't even walk normally and we have to reduce it by half.

Halfway through chemo, new scans, seeking advice
My PSA remains undetectable (<0.05), which, given my historically low PSA, is probably not the Most reliable indicator but I assume means the Lupron and
Nubeqa
might be working and at least some of my PCa is castrate-sensitive?

Is it too late for Triplet Therapy? (4 months on Elligard already.).
With seeing Dorff in just 9 days, I’m thinking I should hold off on getting/starting the Xtandi because at this point, what’s the point if
NUBEQA
is coming? Any thoughts appreciated.

Nubeqa failing onto C-94676 clinical trial
I just thought I would update my latest progression, scan findings, and plan of care established. After BCR and PSA Return: An Update on My Treatment Path
Armed with that information, I opted for what some might consider an aggressive treatment regimen: the "triple play" of Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT)/
Nubeqa
, Chemotherapy, and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT).

Xtandi
My doctor recently placed me on
Nubeqa
after 2 years with Xtandi. I was wondering if anyone here is paying a high price for Xtandi as I have 140 tablets left over, 5 weeks use with recommended dose, 4 tablets/day.

PSA is relatively low, but I am having bone pain in my pelvis and spine
In January 2022 we added
Nubeqa
. PSA has held pretty steady around 0.1 - 0.3. In September 2022 took a vacation from ADT and
Nubeqa
to give me a break and hopefully bring back muscle mass. I also had been having cardiac issues that my cardiologist suspects were made worse by ADT.

Thoughts on vacation and PSA
As context, I'm just finishing 12 months ADT+
Nubeqa
and last fall I finished 6 months docetaxel and SBRT to a suspect vertebrae and rib. PSA was 0.8 with 4-month doubling at BCR when I started all the above.

Sacrum tumor biopsy

Nubeqa
